I looked at the 200 NFT projects with the highest all-time volume.
How many have rugged? How many are dead? How many are still building?
The results are shocking but not surprising:
Of the 200 projects I looked at, 14 have rugged.
Among them:
3Landers, Metroverse, Sneaky Vampire Syndicate, JUNGLE FREAKS Genesis and Robotos.
Another 21 are basically dead. Activity is limited to reposting content or meaningless posts.
On the positive side, 80 of the top 200 traded NFT projects are still relevant today and have teams that are building.
The remaining projects have not (soft-) rugged (yet?) and are still working on something, but are also no longer relevant today. Dead communities, no volume, nobody cares anymore.
