Grateful for the collective effort on this work! May this small piece make a valuable contribution to the realm of "Sustainable" Chemical Engineering. Cheers to the newfound title and the fresh opportunities for OUCBME!
New work by @YuYan_OUcmc & @ZaheerMasood1 in @JPhysChem on electrochemical reduction of NO. Funded by @doescience. Also the #first paper with the new department name - now we are School of "Sustainable" Chemical, Biological and Materials Engineering pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/acs…
Thank you for the kind words and congratulations! Grateful to Dr. Bin Wang and OU for their support during my PhD journey. Excited for my next adventure at Arizona State University, working on NAWI with Berkeley Lab. Stay tuned for updates! 🙏🎓
Congratulations to Yu Yan @YuYan_OUcmc for a successful PhD defense today. Thanks for the committee members @resasco @MicheleGalizia7 @dvpapava and Yihan Shao. Dr. Yan 🎓 we look forward to hearing great updates on your next adventure.👏👏

I am looking for a PD researcher for a new project on Dynamic Catalytic Reactors for Decentralized Ammonia Dehydrogenation.
RT is highly appreciated! 😉
2 days counting down for #AIChE2022 #AIChEAnnual
In case you are interested and fascinated by the water effect on the surface catalysis. Here is our latest work going to be presented in #AIChE2022.
Come and stop by for some valuable discussion!
Thank you, Dr. Kamat @KamatlabND .
Revisiting your insightful views is always helpful to my Ph.D. study.

There’s never enough time for research and writing.
Just went through a 30-mins daily writing in 14-Day Writing Challenge with @NCFDD. Just realized it is easy and hard to improve the research and academic writing skills. But I am going to grind on it!
Latest and exciting findings from @TahaSf_1 and Dr. Wang!
In this new paper @ACSCatalysis, funded by @doescience, Taha @TahaSf_1 showed direct interfacial charge transfer between the metal and the molecule could play a key role in plasmonic S-S bond cleavage and proposed ways to manipulate such a charge transfer. pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/acs…

Congrats! Han. @hanchau_ou I am so lucky to have you as a classmate and a outstanding colleague from the very first day. Tons of best wishes for you and your family!
Congratulations to Dr. Han Chau @hanchau_ou for successfully defending his PhD! We are so proud of you Han and look forward to seeing you accomplish great things!@OU_CBME @GPCatalysisSoc @resasco @OUCMC @ENGINEERINGatOU
A solid and fresh work from our research group.
Thanks to Professors Wang and Resasco and my lab mate Jacob! as well as our fantastic alumnus Tong and co-workers Gengnan!
In this new contribution published in ACS Engineering Au, Jacob discussed how van der Waals approximation methods affect activation barriers of surface reactions, funded by @doescience Thanks for the editors' kind invitation! #OpenAccess @ACS4Authors pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/acs…
See our latest paper on answering some fundamental but crucial questions nitrites reduction over Pd catalyst!
Catalytic removal of nitrates in drinking water has become a major issue. Here, nitrites reduction to nitrogen is key. In collaboration with @OUCMC we have found that water flattens the reaction energy landscape #water #sustainability sciencedirect.com/science/ar…

A year ago, a non-academic friend listened to a talk I gave. I thought it went great. My friend disagreed.
She said that academics are experts at making interesting stuff boring—and that we should all take a speech class.
So I did. And here are 6 most useful things I learned.
Thanks for being a part of our group. Enjoy your next chapter!
Group photo taken after lunch with Taha @TahaSf_1 who starts his new adventure as a Research Scientist in industry in Greater Boston. We appreciate your great contribution and wish all the best to your new career!!🏆 Super happy for you
