Effective Immediately, all organizations using PHP for their systems are advised to be prepared for an update addressing two critical vulnerabilities. PHP is widely used for web applications. These vulnerabilities often provide a direct path to the server's file system or database. If an immediate update is not feasible, it is recommend that organizations take the system offline until it can be fully mitigated. NSA will follow up shortly with more specific guidance.

One year on from this gruesome event I had to personally witness, which saw Baranabas and a neighbour depart this earth. I have decided to put my thoughts into a blog post.
This is my account of what happened that night, and I hope to set the record straight about so much misinformation that went viral.
May Nigeria Not Happen To You

Your lateral thinking is the problem.
You earned $100k last year.
This year, you want to do $120k, even though you could wipe the slate clean and do a million.
The measurement of your performance against a benchmark that amplifies mediocrity.
That is the problem.
You cannot create the impossible by looking up to the possible.
Break down that frame and construct one that has never existed.

In a hotel room in northeast Nigeria, I opened a leading AI chatbot, turned my laptop toward a former Boko Haram commander, and asked if he'd used it. He nodded.
"You type in the question… like 'How can I build a bomb?', and then it tells you how. It is like a human robot. We used it a lot."

Let me say this to us again, because I just saw a comment about class, once again from Nigerians who seem obsessed with it.
The "rules" of polite society are not (necessarily) an attempt to signal sophistication or snobbery. They are designed to codify proper social graces so that social interactions are smooth and there's little room for awkwardness or offending someone mistakenly.
Knowing them does signal status or sophistication but that's a by product.
To give you an example, if someone at your table starts eating with the wrong fork, the right thing to do is not to correct them in front of everybody. That is crass and embarrassing.
The right thing is to actually join them, use the same fork and diffuse the awkwardness with everyone else by saying "it looks like the salad fork actually helps you watch your portions better." Most people will get the hint, laugh it off and some will join others won't but no one feels awkward.
Later, privately you can correct the person as politely as you can without making it awkward. They'll be grateful for it.
If you think your sophistication is a way to embarrass or put people down, you're very crass, uncultured and uncouth.
Which apparently many of you are.
