Good BUT it’s outrageous March received a 42 year sentence for murdering Alana Odysseos and the baby in the first place. March is a serial abuser with a history of violent offending, and a previous conviction for murder. He was on licence and coercively controlling and abusing her. WTF was the Judge thinking with 42 years and why didn’t anyone intervene to protect Alana? These serial abusers need to be proactively identified and managed robustly so they don’t get into new relationships with women who know nothing about their past. This was preventable. We are sick of this happening. Sign the petition: change.org/p/serial-stalkers… @ZDronfield
Shaine March has been sentenced to a rare whole life order after murdering his pregnant girlfriend. He will never be released from prison after his sentence was increased through the @AttorneyGeneral Unduly Lenient Sentencing scheme. Read more here orlo.uk/YLzJL

I was deeply honoured and humbled to receive the award of Doctor of Laws, Honoris Causa for my tireless commitment to social justice šŸ¤ This recognition is not mine alone. It belongs to every woman who spoke up when she wasn’t believed. Every family who fought for justice after the system failed them. Every professional who refused to accept ā€œit’s just a domesticā€ or ā€œit’s just low level nuisance behaviour.ā€ It’s called coercive control and stalking and we successfully campaigned to make them both criminal offences šŸ’œ I also want to acknowledge my extraordinary colleagues, campaigners, and survivors who have walked beside me over the years. And to my mother @MargeCrowsNest - my shero – a survivor and the strongest woman I know 🄰 Thank you to the University of Law for my honorary doctorate šŸ¤ #ThankYou #Award #Shero #Mumma #CoerciveControl #Stalking #womenhelpingwomen #VictimsVoice #CrimeAnalyst #Law #WomenMatter #HonoraryDoctorate @laurarichards99

.@DavidLammy this is dangerous & keeps happening. We’re asking you to please: 1. STOP Babur Raja’s early transfer to Cat D open prison; 2. EXCLUDES domestic abusers & stalkers from early transfer to Cat D prison. Women’s lives must be prioritized over dangerous men’s freedom šŸ–¤ Natalie Queiroz, MBE, shared this disturbing news for the first time on @thecrimeanalyst podcast. Babur Raja has been granted early transfer to an open prison. This is dangerous and not ok šŸ’£šŸ’€ 🚩 Coercive controllers, stalkers and psychopaths often present as model prisoners and manipulate prison staff, offender managers and Parole Boards. Currently they can be transferred up to 5 years early to an open prison. They must NOT be transferred to Cat D prison early and must be rigorously risk assessed by professionals trained to identify coercive control and stalking related behaviours 🚩 āœ… LISTEN to the full story with the incredible @NatalieQueiroz1 crime-analyst.com/p/case-013… #StopEarlyTransferAndRelease #Prison #EarlyRelease #Psychopath #Manipulation #MaleEntitlement #Patriarchy #Misogyny #CoerciveController #PowerAndControl #RiskAssessment #Patriarchy #CoerciveControl #Abuse #Risk #Control #CrimeAnalyst #MaleViolence #redflags🚩 #NatalieQueiroz #BaburRaja #AskQuestions #WarningSigns #CrimeAnalystSquad #Psychology @laurarichards99

Your Reminder: Serial stalkers and domestic abusers have been left unchecked for far too long. This is a leadership and accountability issue. There has been NO focus on abusers and stopping male violence, particularly serial abusers and stalkers and I have been trying to change this for a very long time. I have the receipts. The Government voted this down time and time again. If the amount of energy that went into blocking this was put into tracking offenders, closing them down and holding them accountable the UK would not be in the mess it's in with the femicide rate. Lives would have been saved. To come after the DASH @dashchecklist is unconscionable. Stop gaslighting and apportioning blame in all the wrong places. Victims deserve better than this: change.org/p/serial-stalkers… #CrimeAnalyst #prevention #stalking #coercivecontrol #serialperpetrators #maleviolence @laurarichards99 @ZDronfield

My heartfelt sympathies go out to all the families whose loved ones have been murdered by abusive and controlling men who were allowed to escalate their behaviour. That’s not ok. But @dashchecklist did not kill anyone. More ā¬‡ļø
Criminal Behavioural Analyst and creator of the DASH Risk Model, Laura Richards @laurarichards99 , has rejected media claims blaming DASH for women’s deaths. ā€œThe DASH did not kill anyone. Violent men did - and they were left unchecked,ā€ Richards said. thelaurarichards.com/my-two-…

THREE months & then he kills Olivia. This was preventable. He has a history of abusing at least THREE other women. SIGN our petition for police, probation, prison services to proactively identify, assess & manage serial abusers like terrorists change.org/p/serial-stalkers…
Urgh. Another murder in slow motion: SERIAL ABUSER Kieron Goodwin has been jailed for at least 35 years for killing partner, Olivia Wood, who was leaving him šŸš©šŸ’£ Wood plied Olivia with a lethal dose of cocaine before STRANGLING her on the night she tried to leave him has been jailed for at least 35 years. Kieron Goodwin, 33, was found guilty last month of murdering 29-year-old Olivia Wood at his flat in Frome, Somerset, on 30 July last year. Goodwin had quickly become controlling of Olivia during their THREE MONTH RELATIONSHIP, including forcing her to take drugs, perform sex acts on camera for other men and sleep with a stranger. Goodwin was also sentenced for a string of offences against THREE FORMER PARTNERS, including forcing them to take drugs and sleep with strangers against their will. Jailing Goodwin for life with a minimum term of 35 years for Olivia’s death, Judge Picton said: ā€œYou are a manipulative, determined, MISOGYNISTIC, selfish narcissist and a truly evil individual.ā€ A reminder: separation, escalation, victim’s fear, strangulation, coercive control, misogyny, and him being serial abuser are HIGH RISK factors for serious harm and femicide 🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩 Please ensure you are trained to use the @dashchecklist and trained by an expert to identify coercive control: bit.ly/LRMasterclassRegistra… Women’s lives depend on it. Also he was a serial abuser. They always are. āœ… SIGN the petition for them to be proactively, identified, assessed and managed like sex offenders and terrorists: change.org/p/serial-stalkers… #OliviaWood #Separation #Strangulation #SerialPerpetrator #Escalation #CoerciveControl #CrimeAnalyst #KieronGoodwin @laurarichards99

Predatory senior Essex Police officer 'preyed' on female colleagues. Chief Superintendent Tom Simons was previously the lead for domestic abuse. They gravitate to these roles. I’ve seen it so many times. Such a mystery why DV victims aren’t believed 🤬 essexlive.news/news/essex-ne…

If only the police investigated and pursued perpetrators as rigorously as @Glos_Police are pursuing a grieving mother, whose daughter they failed. This is not ok. It’s a bad look & terrible decision. #HerNameWasDanielleChartersChristie
🚨Exclusive: A grieving mother is being threatened with prosecution unless she deletes a damning review into police failings in her daughter's case. We reported on Danielle Charters-Christie's story last year - police conduct since has raised alarm channel4.com/news/exclusive-…

🧵 Incredible. Georgia has PASSED The Georgia Survivor Justice Act, a landmark bill recognising the role domestic violence plays as a root cause to offending. The bill allows survivors to present evidence and seek reduced sentences, including resentencing, if they can prove domestic abuse played a role in their offence. ā€œIn Georgia alone, more than half of women serving life sentences are victims of abuse.ā€ This is a monumental step and the UK should take notice... This bill recognises what research has long shown. A 2024 Stanford Law study reported by The New York Times surveyed 649 incarcerated women in California to trace the thread from intimate partner violence to prison. Their findings exposed what many of us know, and many others still choose to ignore: šŸ”ŗ 134 women had killed their partners šŸ”ŗ 110 experienced domestic abuse in the year before the offence šŸ”ŗ 80 of 110 were in ā€œextremeā€ or ā€œsevere dangerā€ in the year before their crimes, Danger Assessments found šŸ”ŗ 85 reported their partner had controlled most or all of their daily activities šŸ”ŗ 83 said their partner had ā€˜forced them to have sex’ šŸ”ŗ 69 said their partner had tried to ā€˜choke or strangle’ them šŸ”ŗ 91 said they believed their partner was capable of killing them This bill can help recognise what so many justice systems around the world still refuse to confront: Many women are not offenders, they are victims of their own survival. What makes this bill different to Sally’s Law in E&W? It goes further. It recognises domestic abuse doesn’t just lead to homicide, it can lead to theft, drug charges, coerced acts - any offence rooted in abuse. And most of all, it’s gives women already incarcerated a chance to finally be HEARD. And too many women are paying the price for being unheard. My mother and I, and countless others who are still in this fight, understand that. Now so too must our justice systems. āž”ļø independent.co.uk/news/georg…

Good news but utterly disgusting it has taken this long for action & it hasn’t happened yet. Every day when we hear more stories I get more and more disheartened- they don’t care or they would change.. let’s see PLEASE sign the petition šŸ‘‡
Good news šŸ‘šŸ¼ The Met are targeting the top 100 violent men to women again I started this in 2006 standard.co.uk/hp/front/yard… Since then we have been asking for ALL police forces to do this & join up men’s violent histories to protect women & children. It’s a national problem & it’s been going on for far too long - sadly many women & children have been harmed & murdered by high risk & serial abusers. āœ… SIGN our petition: change.org/p/serial-stalkers… metro.co.uk/2025/03/20/sir-m… #SerialAbusers #Stalkers #MaleViolence #Femicide #CrimeAnalyst #Expert #CoerciveControl #DomesticAbuse @laurarichards99 @ZDronfield @LabourRoyall

You can keep creating new orders for coercive controllers & stalkers - they will keep breaching them with NO consequence. I don’t believe this will be any different. Men’s violent histories aren’t joined up & victims aren’t believe. channel4.com/news/exclusive-…
