I was reminded this weekend of how beautiful and important capturing moments & memories are. As family gets older and the brevity of life becomes more apparent, I know reliving this point of time in the coming years will be a source of joy.

The call to be the hands and feet of Christ does not stop when people leave your church or the faith altogether.

Anyone can turn over tables; not everyone can sit at a table among those with whom they find disagreement. Jesus did both.

The work of God may very well be accomplished despite one’s vices, but the heart of God is to bring transformation to those vices.

As Christians, we must not equate “attacks of the devil” with the work of God bringing to light that which one has hidden in the dark. The Church—the Body of Christ—can not be a conduit of healing to areas that one continues to hide.

May we be aware and informed but not bound to fear.

Surrounded by uncertainty, we can be certain of one thing: Christ crucified & risen.

We don’t need to re-invent ourselves; We don’t need to re-brand ourselves; We don’t need to re-imagine ourselves. We need to re-pent: turning to God and allowing His grace and mercy to cover our life!

When we remember our sin, we forget Christ’s forgiveness.

You are God's beloved.

Christ is not some abstract, lofty idea; but a Person to be interacted with. AND - from such an encounter - we then participate in the redemptive work He set forth in the world.

Church: we are not called to be like those who abused Christ’s body; rather, we are to be Christ’s body.

The Gospel is Good News. Not fake news, nor irrelevant news - but news that transforms one’s life. ___ #christianity #CatholicChurch #gospel #goodnews #faith

There’s no shame in the isolation and fear that you feel in these dark days. It’s moments like these where the darkness that has always been within starts to rise up. May we not miss this opportunity to place these emotions in the loving, nail-pierced hands of a living Savior.
