Turkish presidential advisor, Oktay Saral, who criticised the Azerbaijani government's Hijab Ban in schools, has been removed from his position.
The Azerbaijani government was demanding the dismissal of Turkish officials who had expressed their views on the issue of Hijabs in the country.
Oktay issued the following statement regarding his dismissal:
"Positions come and go, titles change. The most important thing is not what position a person holds, but what values they stand for. For us, the most important thing is not the positions, but the cause we have pursued for years and the struggle we have fought side by side with our esteemed President.
"Today, I hereby announce my resignation from my position as Chief Advisor to our President, His Excellency Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, a role I have carried out with great honour, pride, and responsibility since 2016.
Positions come and go, and titles change hands. What truly matters is not the position a person holds, but the values they stand behind. For us, what matters is not positions, but the cause we have pursued in the same direction for years and the struggle we have undertaken shoulder to shoulder with our President.
This decision does not mean that I am taking a step back from the values I believe in or from my determination to serve our nation. As in the past, I will continue to walk alongside our President today and tomorrow, with the same faith and determination."

"I don’t think this war is ever going to end unless we kick out the Arabs from there (Gaza) ... Or we’ll kill them"
A young American woman from Texas, who is now an illegal Israeli settler, spoke about killing the "Arabs" who refused to leave Gaza, saying they should be expelled because Gaza was "our land", during an interview outside a rally for Israel’s far right National Security Minister Ben-Gvir’s party ahead of Israel’s October 27 election.
She also said that they should not be allowed to go to Jordan, Lebanon or Syria, claiming those countries also belonged to Israel.

⚠️ A new wave of hunger is growing in Gaza due to the blockade of humanitarian aid by Israel.
A severe food crisis is rapidly deepening in the Gaza Strip, exacerbated by Israel's ban on humanitarian aid and flour supplies. Local residents report a catastrophic shortage of basic food: "We have no flour, we have absolutely nothing."
Ten of Gaza’s 17 bakeries have closed after commercial flour ran out and shipments were blocked by Israel for more than 10 days, raising fears that more bakeries will shut and bread queues will return.
At the same time, the World Food Programme has reduced monthly assistance recipients from 1.6 million to 1.1 million, cutting food rations in half and reduced hot meals from 250,000 to 150,000 a day.
Around 1.4 million people face critical levels of food insecurity, while an average of just 200 trucks enter the enclave daily, one-third of the 600 stipulated under the ceasefire agreement.

He survived repeated abductions and torture. When they came for him again, he resisted.
Turpal-Ali Mezhidov, 36, from Gudermes, was killed on October 19, 2026, during a prolonged armed confrontation with Russian occupation forces in Chechnya. He refused to surrender and fought until his ammunition ran out.
In his hometown and beyond, he was known for his sincerity, courage and strong religious convictions. He treated people, organised pilgrimages to Islam’s holy sites and taught others about his faith.
Russian personnel had repeatedly abducted and brutally tortured him. They tried to break his will and force him into submission. They failed.
In his final years, Mezhidov became involved in underground resistance to Russian rule. His commitment to ending the occupation was inseparable from his faith and his belief that his people should live freely on their own land.
When Russian personnel attempted to abduct him again, he fought back. The confrontation was followed by a mobilisation of Russian security structures across Chechnya.
His story is also a story of the system Russia maintains in Chechnya: repeated abductions, torture and persecution, followed by demands that those subjected to them remain obedient.

France Terror Attack: One Killed, Four Injured in Drive-By Shooting in Paris
An armed French man, Kevin, opened fire, specifically targeting people of Arab and African origins in Paris. At least one person was killed, four seriously injured — including a 12-year-old girl who was shot eight times.
Several drive-by shootings took place on Friday - first in Trappes to the south-west of Paris, and then in nearby La Verrière. The rampage lasted almost 15 minutes, said Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez.
The suspected attacker has been arrested. The National Anti-Terrorist Prosecutor's Office (PNAT) said the incident appeared to be "murder in connection with a terrorist enterprise".
The Mayor of Trappes, Ali Rabeh, said that "an individual fired shots from his vehicle at several people he encountered" on Friday morning.
Asked what the motive for the shootings may have been, the mayor of Trappes said that the victim who had died was of African origin and one of those in a critical condition was of North African descent.
The attack had a "racist, probably Islamophobic overtone", he said.

Sheikh Khaled Abu Juma's Friday sermon at Al-Aqsa Mosque before he was detained by Israeli occupation forces...
In the name of Allah.
Praise be to Allah, who, in His wisdom, perfected all that He created and established; who drew near to His creation through His mercy; and who accepted gratitude from His creatures as a fitting return for His blessings. He commanded us to obey Him—not because He has any need of us, but for our own sake—for He forgives the sins of those who have done wrong or transgressed, and He bestows abundant gifts upon those who do good. I praise Him, both privately and openly.
I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, alone, with no partner; He has promised His servants success and happiness, provided they worship Him with sincerity.
And I bear witness that our master, our prophet, our beloved, our great leader, our guide, and the delight of our eyes—Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)—is the servant and messenger of Allah.
Through him, Allah guided His servants: He dispelled their ignorance with knowledge, removed their fear and sorrow through faith, and refined their character by means of the Quran.
May the peace, blessings, and grace of Allah be upon him, his pure family, his noble companions, and those who follow them in righteousness until the Day of Judgment—may we take them as our role models and follow in their footsteps.
To proceed: I advise you—and myself—to fear Allah, the Almighty, both in private and in public; for he who fears Allah has attained success, while he who is led by his own desires has met with loss. Keep before your eyes the words of the Almighty: "O you who believe! Fear Allah and be with those who are truthful."
Servants of Allah, the Holy Quran is the spring of the heart and the light of the intellect. Every verse carries within it a wealth of spirituality and a profound depth of faith—healing the breast and restoring tranquility to troubled hearts, hearts tossed about by feelings of anxiety, sorrow, and pain. Allah, the Almighty, says in His definitive revelation: "O you who believe! Endure, persevere, remain steadfast, and fear Allah." "So that you may succeed."
O you who stand firm at the frontiers (al-murabitun):
This is a direct address from Allah to you—remain steadfast in your obedience to Allah, the Almighty and Majestic.
Remain steadfast in the face of trials and tribulations; remain steadfast in upholding the truth. Cling to Allah in times of hardship and ease, in times of adversity and prosperity.
Await relief—which will come through its widest gates—with absolute certainty, and be among those who are truly patient (al-sabirin).
Allah addresses you, saying:
"Out-persevere" (wa-sabiru).
Encourage others to be patient, and let your own patience be greater than the patience of your enemies. Remain steadfast in holding your ground; endure difficult and critical situations by restraining your souls from despair, panic, and fear.
O you who are patient:
Remain steadfast.
Remain steadfast in pursuit of the promise you have been given. Stand firm against the polytheists, the misguided, and the hypocrites.
Stand firm against the enemies of Allah until they abandon their ways for your faith.
Remain steadfast, O servants of Allah, and inspire others to be patient and resilient.
Be among those who endure in the face of hardships, difficulties, the pain of trials, and the schemes of others.
"Stand firm [at your posts] and fear Allah, so that you may succeed."
Stand firm, O servants of Allah—stand firm on your land with steadfastness, honor, and dignity.
Protect your Al-Aqsa.
Protect your holy city.
Fear Allah in all your affairs, so that you may succeed— When you meet Him tomorrow.
