NEAR Intents attacker has responded!
the NEAR Intents Recovery Wallet (0xB18a1...C0e7) has received 1 BNB one hour ago (10:22 AM UTC) with a message in response to @AlexAuroraDev's 48-hour window:
> "Willing to cooperate, reply with your Signal so contact is possible."
the sender address (0x09Fd1...ad37) is tagged as "NEAR Intents Exploiter 1" on BNBScan and is one of the primary addresses identified by @zachxbt as belonging to the attacker -- used in the exploit
Alex offer is a nonbrainer. the attacker had two options:
A. refusing it and living in fear of getting caught
B. accepting it, collecting the bounty, and living free
there are just too many eyes on his onchain trails and liquidating the full amount would be extremely hard, with likely significant losses while doing so
by accepting the 48-hour window offer they can now collect a 5-10% bounty, claim cooperation (greyhat activity), receive legal forgiveness, and maybe even brag about the critical finding one day
it looks like @near_intents exploit will have a happy ending after all
