If you’re an artist, please do not spent the money someone sent for a commission BEFORE you send the completed piece.
Unless you intend to complete it within that week..
Too many people are commissioning artist and being ghosted for 6 plus months or longer..

I know life happens, but as artists accepting people’s hard earned money, we need to take responsibility and reach out to our clients if and when we need an extension or if we won’t be able to communicate for a while. It shouldn’t be the client’s job to blindly seek updates. We need to keep them posted regarding the progress of their comm. It’s a bare minimum considering we’re taking their money before we start the work — and they trust us to do and finish that work in a reasonable amount of time. It’s hard enough to find clients in such a crowded space, so please don’t make people regret their decision to pay for art. I’m so sorry to people who’ve had terrible experiences getting art.

Just to clarify, I don't mean this to say artists can't take breaks or play games. Just communicate your progress or obstacles to your clients in a timely manner, and please don't ghost or lie to them lmao.

The first half of this chapter required heavy revisions in almost all aspects and it was dense enough to give me a heache by the end of it. 😵💫

It was so dense that also revealed a plot hole I must fix way back in the earlier chapters yay...
This chapter I can tell at one point was two separate chapters that I combined together, thus it is 3rd longest chapter in this particular story.
