Minister of Higher Education, Amb. Dr Frederick Shava, visited @ZIMCHE on 8 June for a familiarisation tour — and left the Council with a clear set of directives. Here is what came out of the visit.

A review of Heritage-Based Education 5.0 and the Minimum Bodies of Knowledge framework was also called for, to keep university programmes locally relevant and globally competitive.
The Minister acknowledged ZIMCHE's operational constraints — understaffing, limited space, equipment shortfalls — and said strengthening the Council's capacity is a government priority.
