(3/4) MCP, with actual tools. Connect Claude, Codex or Cursor to create boxes, execute commands, clone repos, edit files and grab preview URLs. Hosted MCP with OAuth, or stdio through the CLI. Even the docs are searchable tools.

(4/4) Prefer a terminal? Meet the zipbox CLI. Run commands, transfer files, open a shell, publish previews and read logs. Add --json for scripts and CI. Less clicking. More scripting. Get started with the API, SDKs, MCP and CLI: zipbox.ai/docs/quickstart

Dear @openclaw and @NousResearch Hermes users, Stop buying Mac minis. Give your agent its own computer, inbox and browser, and it never sees your keys. - @Zipbox_

Cheap and cheerful.
Our @GitHub bill has been atrocious the last couple of months. $1,500/month just for CI builds is insane. I literally checked out 3 large tier machines on @Zipbox_ ($40/mo each) and asked Astra to configure our CI to run on our boxes. $1,500/mo → $120/mo is a hell of a deal.

This morning I decided to build an @xmtp_ client to test out app builder feature on @Zipbox_. I told it to support all possible features and it did pretty well. demo below

Building your own Zip App is easy. Just ask your favorite coding harness and voila
Built a little app on ZipOS using the @X API to track every post against follower growth and unfollows. Turns out your own data is a pretty good growth coach. It’s already helping me see what people love, and what sends them straight to unfollow 😂 Next goal: 10K followers.

A challenge for security researchers: $10,000 if you can break out of a Zipbox.ai Zipbox.ai gives every user their own fully isolated cloud machine with full root access. The product rests on one promise: what happens inside your box stays inside your box, and you can’t reach the host underneath. We think that holds. We’d rather be proven wrong by a researcher we pay than an attacker we don’t. The rules: - Boot your own Zipbox.ai machine. That’s your target. - Win condition: reach the host machine. Nothing else counts. - Stay on your own box. Other users’ boxes and customer data are out of scope. Accessing either, or taking the service down, voids the claim. - Make it reproducible. Tell us exactly how you did it and give us a reasonable window to fix it before going public. First verified host escape wins $10,000. The challenge runs until someone claims it. Got out? Email [email protected] with the details and we’ll verify it.

Your laptop wasn’t built for 10 coding agents. Give each agent its own cloud machine with Zipbox. Let them build, test and run in parallel. Give your agents their own machines

Over the last few hours, 111 people signed up for Zipbox in fast bursts. 104 took the $25 free credit. 4 added a card. We then noticed a pattern. Junk usernames, throwaway emails, only free boxes booted, $25 of LLM model calls drained in a short period of time. First we tried the polite fix: make the $25 require a card. Shipped it at 2:30pm. Then we found accounts still booting free machines with no card at all. The free tier was skipping the card check entirely. That was the actual hole, and it had been open the whole time. So as of today: a card on file and a $5 top-up to boot anything, including the free Tiny. The Tiny is still free. $0/hr, we don't charge you for the machine, that hasn't changed. We also killed the $25 signup credit outright. It only ever funded this. Sorry to everyone using it honestly. You're the reason this sucks to write.
