The Assembly of Caribbean Peoples called on all CARICOM heads of state to support Cuba’s resolution against the blockade. Grenada reversed its July abstention on Cuba’s request for UN debate on the blockade, voting in favor of today’s resolution. Haiti moved from support to abstention (PM Fils-Aimé was installed by Marco Rubio), Shield of the Americas states (🇬🇾🇯🇲) abstained, and 🇹🇹 shifted from support in 2025 to abstention, to against.😐

The plants are losing more moisture (per week) than they can absorb. There is likely to be a point where (outside of intensive irrigation) plants wont survive and will require other kinds of intervention. It's likely to come Feb-Mar 2027.

FYI @NestaJA there was no intent to deceive anyone. The very definition of an “imitation firearm” means that even a toy gun can be the subject of this mandatory 15 year sentence. I have a client found with a cardboard gun in his waist now facing 15 years! Btw, the Gov did ballistic testing on the cardboard gun. 🤷🏾‍♂️

Do not be misled of deceived by the use of the words "imitation toy gun" here by Counsel. The words, as quoted by Mr Hyatt, do not appear in the Firearms (PROHIBITION, RESTRICTION AND REGULATION) Act 2022. The word toy does not appear anywhere in the act.
