I want to address something that happened in @RealCashpig space yesterday.
Someone was complaining that one founder managed to mint out a paid collection, while another couldn't get the same support after already launching a failed free project.
Unfortunately, this space isn't a charity. Nobody owes you a successful mint.
It takes a certain type of person to become an artist, a founder, and ultimately build something sustainable in Web3. Experience matters. Skills matter. Your network, reputation, and consistency matter.
My advice to anyone rushing into becoming a founder, whether your intentions are genuine or you're just chasing a quick payday, is simple:
Build your foundation first.
Learn valuable skills. Build genuine relationships. Grow your network organically. Develop a portfolio and establish a reputation before expecting people to invest in your vision.
The long-term value of those things will always outweigh a quick payday that could potentially damage your reputation for years to come.
Not everyone needs to be a founder. There's nothing wrong with spending years learning the space before launching something of your own.
Stop chasing the title. Start building the experience.
Anyway, rant over. Time to kill the day.
