Yeah the second and third dish they sent where awesome in comparison to the first, it was crazy how fast it progressed. I still got the mini they sent in a box because I haven’t had a need to use it. I put up one of the high speed business (or w/e they were called) dishes at one of the businesses I’m with as a backup for the wired service because Starlink had less interruptions than the fiber service there 😂.

Yeah like I said early days people were keeping their console on lower FW waiting for an exploit and would randomly get locked out of a game they were playing just prior because their console was able to check for an update. You could delete the game completely and reinstall it and it’d work. Part of people issue with that though was they couldn’t just reinstall their digital games.

Game updates don’t require PSN access, no matter your settings it will check for updates if it can connect to the right server.

Fuck it makes me scared to say anything because convos like this are taxing as hell and don’t accomplish anything.

You ever get tired of the “um acksully? Yes, I literally said it may not be everyone’s issue. But that is likely the issue people are running into because no matter your settings, if it can connect, it will get the info for the title update and stop the application from starting. This was part of people’s initial issues even before there was a public exploit available for any FW. No, their question wasn’t a technical one, it was a practical one, I gave one reason why it could be from a list of known things, this being the most likely. But please fucking continue listing everything it could possible be just to try and be right without backpedaling, just don’t include me in it.

They are literally asked why they can play their games but why other people are having issues

If the game autoupdates to a patch that requires a higher FW the game will refuse to start like this. May not be everyone’s issue but I bet it’s some of their’s.
I was assured, very recently, that none of them were worried about SpaceX
AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile are jointly lobbying the FCC to preserve existing rules as @SpaceX moves closer to launching its own independent cellular network that would compete directly with the three major U.S. carriers.
On Oct 20th, reps from all three major U.S. wireless carriers met with FCC officials to push back against proposed changes that would give satellite companies more freedom to offer cellular service.
The carriers urged the FCC to:
• Block satellite companies from using certain 5G frequencies currently used by wireless carriers.
• Keep rules requiring satellite companies to get permission from wireless carriers before using their licensed spectrum.
• Allow wireless carriers to maintain control over these agreements, including the ability to end them.
• Reconsider proposed interference limits to protect existing cellular networks.
Based on all the public communications from these carriers, and the lobbying, they are clearly worried that SpaceX's @Starlink Mobile network is going to be a major competitor to them. Starlink Mobile will become the first network operator to deploy both satellite and terrestrial spectrum.
The FCC recently announced that they are considering new rules that could make it easier for satellite companies like SpaceX to offer cellular service without relying as heavily on existing wireless carriers, so this is partly what the three big carriers are fighting against.
“I’m an international relations expert… I haven’t heard of Russia until today”
Gonna throw this out there… good on them. But it would have been cheaper to hire someone who knows what they’re doing when operating internationally, applying in time (rather than when you could be 100% sure it couldn’t be approved in time), or paying to expedite the process.
We have updated the details of reimbursement for trainers who had planned to attend 7th EVENT WORLD TOUR: THE STAGE in LOS ANGELES. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Miraculously it now costs Telesat the entire contract price to put their satellites into orbit

They did the “Show up to the airport 10 minutes before your flight” and didn’t get through security in time and are blaming security for policies that have been in place for decades. In this analogy they even had the opportunity to pay for/use TSA Pre-Check or Clear+ and didn’t.

My grocery bill is $100… it’s $100 cash or $98 with a 2% back no fee card, which there are plenty of. 2% is the absolute lowest you should be getting back as well.
If the place specifically charges more to use a credit card (most places don’t because it’s against the terms of their CC processor) you have to do a quick comparison.
