A divisional school is the most common type of school run by school boards (what most people think of as a "public school"). Students are "divided" by geography, religion, and/or native language and are assigned to a default board (not school). A student may choose another board.

Divisional schools do not have to take all students. There are selection criteria and lotteries at divisional schools.

If you don't fund private schools, you will end up violating 1 of these 3 clauses: UDHR 26.3, UNCRC 28.1(a), or UNCRC 29.2.

Alberta has ranked highly since the inception of PISA. What recent reforms do you think would contribute to that? What other factors would you attribute this to?
