Seniors if you have committable offers I would seriously think about taking that! That portal opens in about two weeks and everyone will not be going DI therefore some will take those DII, DIII, NAIA and JUCO offers and leave you stuck! Just a food for thought!
Can’t tell you how many kids told me last spring they were going Juco because they were told it wouldn’t count against their eligibility. Surprise!

Coach Moeller has been on the University of South Florida’s coaching staff for the past 3 years. We are glad he is now apart of the Firehawk Family.

The portal is filled with players leaving arguably the best situation for them, but people trying to make money off them won’t tell them. There are hundreds of stories of players who thought they were getting something better and they ended up on the bench as an 8th or 9th man

"I wake up worrying about what they think when they're 28 not when they are 18.
Are they going to say that I cared about them - enough to be hard on them and try to teach them right from wrong."
Holding someone accountable is something done for them NOT to them.
Post season journey starts today! Grateful for the opportunity to still be playing! This group overcame so much to still be standing! All our goals are at our fingertips now! @UTSMensBBall @uts_firehawks 🔥

“The older you get, the more you have to learn to coach with one eye open and one ear closed. When you’re young you have a tendency to see everything and hear everything and react to both. As you get older you learn not to,” Kelvin Sampson.
Winners don’t know so they learn.
Proud of and for my boys. They were desperate and connected.

Nick Saban said, "I think you get mental toughness because things are hard. You gotta embrace hard."
"Hard times make tough people."
Toughness requires a willingness to go beyond your current limits.
It means mental flexibility.
