My 10 year NFT theory:
● Scarcity will matter
// fewer projects will stand the test of time than you expect
● Hype won't be enough
// projects will need a real reason to exist, be collected, and hold cultural significance
● Cultural heritage
// will be a major narrative with certain collections signifying the existence of NFTs
● Ownership less accessible
// to the average collector, OG projects will be out of reach and concentrated in long-term holders hands
● Mature into a more established asset class
// we see a clearer distinction between historically significant collections and the rest
Look, I don't have a crystal ball and who knows where NFTs will be in 10 years from now.
But I think it's worth thinking whether they'll be more than just speculation we mostly see today.
