βHaiti is tough. When the United States looked for someone to lead and assume accountability and responsibility, no hand shot up. Only one: Kenyaβ.
βWhen no one stood up, Kenyans stood upβ.
Wantam brigade runs on a dangerous illusion: that being brilliant at criticizing government makes you brilliant at running one. The real question isn't whether Sifuna can out-argue Ruto β it's whether he can out-govern him. Reality tests every political promise eventually.

Honoured to visit HackHouse, one of Nairobiβs new collective of innovation startups bringing together techies and empowering them through training, competitions, and community-driven initiatives under the leadership of Dr. Bright Gameli. Deeply impressed with the versatility and commitment of these youthful innovators to contributing to Kenyaβs developmental journey. I assured them of the State departmentβs commitment to consolidating partnerships to support inclusive digital transformation agenda of government and our willingness to draw from their experiences and perspectives. @ForeignOfficeKE @pthigo @tanuijohn @KTechnopolis

A new chapter in KenyaβSaudi Arabia relations was written today with the successful conclusion of the first-ever KenyaβSaudi Arabia Political Consultations, marking a significant milestone in our growing strategic partnership.
Co-chaired the inaugural consultations in Riyadh with His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, Saudi Arabia's Minister of Foreign Affairs, where we reaffirmed our commitment to expanding cooperation in labour mobility, trade and investment, peace and security, technical education and ICT.
Among the key outcomes was the signing of Memoranda of Understanding on enhanced labour cooperation, investment promotion and customs collaboration. The Kenya Development Corporation also signed an agreement with the Saudi EXIM Bank to promote exports, investment and knowledge exchange.
Saudi Arabia also expressed strong interest in public-private partnerships in renewable energy, infrastructure and logistics, sectors that will create jobs, attract investment and accelerate Kenya's economic transformation.
These consultations reaffirm that Kenya's diplomacy is delivering tangible results by expanding opportunities for our workers, businesses and investors while strengthening our country's strategic partnerships.
Cabinet Secretary for Labour and Social Protection, Hon. Dr. @DrAlfredMutua , also participated in the consultations.

As we move toward the start of the #CommonwealthGames2026 in Glasgow next month, I had the pleasure of being part of a conversation with Kenyan football legend @DennisOliech and the @AyorkorBotchwey, the Secretary General of The Commonwealth. Also at the table was @gina_din. We reflected on the role of #Sports as a bridge-builder between nations, cultures and generations. As Oliech continues working on his vision of a football academy, we remain inspired by his commitment on and off the pitch. As @KenyaMissionUK we remain ready and willing players to win a better and more hopeful future for #youth.

Thursday, I signed an MoU on Diaspora Affairs between Kenya and Armenia with Armeniaβs High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs, Mr. Zareh Sinanyan.
The agreement will strengthen diaspora engagement, youth cooperation, cultural exchange, and knowledge sharing between our two countries.
Diaspora communities are not just citizens abroad. They are partners in development, innovation, investment, and diplomacy.

There was something magical about seeing a Kenyan registered vehicle on the streets of London. Not just for me or the staff of the @KenyaMissionUK. The number of non-Kenyans who moved close to the car to tell us of their Kenyan experiences was incredible and totally unexpected.
But listening to Becky Kim and Boniface Kioko tell their story of driving through 57 countries in Africa and Europe in 120 days told the full Kenyan story: #courage #resilience #Collaboration.
As I pinned that last flag to mark UK π¬π§ as their last stop on this adventure that began in Kenya π°πͺ, it symbolized the strong cultural and historical relationship between our two countries. As the Kenyan flag flattered before the London double -decker bus, it was both an end, and a beginning. It reminded us of the power and our better angels within us: to do good for humanity.
Thank you Becky and Boniface for your visit; and for sharing your stories.

Africa is not asking for aid. Africa is offering mutually beneficial partnerships. G7 needs Africaβs green energy assets and transition minerals. Africa needs fair terms for development finance, technology transfer, and industrialization. G7 must do more to fix the risk architecture that holds back Africa, fund climate solutions, and let Africa co-write AI rules. G7 without Africa is managing decline. With Africa, G7 has a chance of co-designing the future. Thatβs the deal President Ruto will be pressing for in Avian, France. Honoured to be here to support him as he advances Kenya and Africaβs priorities. @ForeignOfficeKE

The UN80 Global Retreat in Oslo, Norway, comes at a critical moment for the international community. The United Nations system faces significant challenges: leadership, underfunding of key humanitarian and security programs; diminished trust to multilateralism, and delivery gaps in the field.
Against this backdrop, the Oslo Retreat, which I and our PR in New York @eelokaale are honoured to attend, presents a timely opportunity for member states to have a frank and constructive dialogue on the way forward for the UN system. As a key UN Station, Nairobiβs views and perspectives on this issue remains vital. @ForeignOfficeKE
