A few days ago I tweeted about how African American history has not been taught enough in our schools. So a petition has started to have A.A Studies available to all high schools in Fayette County with the end goal of making it a graduation requirement. chng.it/vcQW5qXCZN
The realities of the business has hit hard this past month. Extremely sad for my friend but I know Sierra will land on her feet and kill it to wherever you go next. Very grateful for you and all the fun we’ve had doing what we love while being “competitors” over the past year
Some say you aren’t a real journalist until you’ve been laid off; unfortunately (or fortunately 🤷🏽♀️), I have joined the club. Friday, Nov 6th is my last day reporting for @lex18news/ @bbntonight. I’m so heartbroken that E.W. Scripps has not only eliminated my position but also 430 others across the company. There are so many more stories I wanted to tell but, I’m grateful for the time I’ve spent working at the station I grew up watching.
Over my 5+ years, I took on many different roles that helped me grow into the reporter and woman I am today. I truly can’t put into words how blessed I’ve been to share the stories of the programs that every Kentuckian has known since birth. I’ve covered some of the biggest games in UK Athletics history, KHSAA State Championships, interviewed Hall of Famers, world champions, shared the stories of Big Blue Nation and everything in between.
I don’t know what’s next, but I am so grateful for the time I’ve had. 💙
Always figured this would be the case but nice to see it officially official. Brooklyn Deleye and Molly Tuozzo will be back in a Kentucky uniform next year.

A bad loss for the Cats to get reverse swept like that. Just felt like Tennessee wanted it more especially in that 5th set. Doesn’t get any easier for UK with Texas A&M coming to town on Sunday.
Five wins in a row. Three straight SEC road wins. And now tied for first place in the conference. This Kentucky team is doing the damn thing man.
Not kicking the field goal might come back to bite the Cats but that’s in hindsight. Kentucky has been aggressive all season. Live by it, die by it.
LSU had success last week with a couple of trick plays against Kentucky. Oklahoma has tried 2 and has failed both. The last one being a fake field goal that turned into an interception in the endzone.
Kentucky’s offense gets surgical and scores a touchdown on the opening drive. Beautiful start to the game.
Because Georgia lost and Alabama Is on the verge of losing to Tennessee. Kentucky is playing for first place in the entire SEC tonight. Incredible.
For the first time in nearly two years, Kentucky Volleyball has dropped an SEC match. Cats fall to Florida 3-2 in a match where UK had 31 errors and a .133 hitting percentage.
