You could publish your photography collection as a book. Would buy one I believe it'll be something that'll be antique level in the coming years

PR and its purposes. Does every company need attention, or only that of its Ideal Customer Profile? Ego wants applause for our work, but from first principles a business should focus on customer value and its own profit. Resources (tangible and intangible) should go to what specifically works for the business, not attention for its own sake, unless the product is for everyone. No product is, except oxygen. I’ve been losing sleep over attention for our rebrand. As a creative, I’m torn between a big splash that fits our color and story (which we can’t afford) and a quieter approach my ego rejects. The binary is too dramatic; it needn’t be big or small. What could be Better is a concentrated splash, high craft, small audience, low cost. Nobody outside the team cares that we rebranded. Customers don’t buy rebrands; they buy what the new name proves. Our brand means proof, so launch with Proof. What’s a creative way to do that? Need the spirits to bring the answer asap!

Earlier today I showed colleagues the first company profile I did for my research agency thesis, when it was still an idea I was testing while working as country manager for one of Africa’s best research agencies. The first name was “Funnel”; @nelibuola3 did the deck. I was exploring my ability to connect with the world as both observer and participant. The human carnival fascinates me; an old lover once said I lived through life as if I were an alien in a carnival. At the time a camera was always in my hands for @MONOCHROMELAGOS. This picture shows how I engaged with the streets: I rarely asked permission to shoot. I didn’t yet know the privilege. I would lock the shot in my head, go straight to it, click, then deal with permission afterward- explaining or simply smiling to signal safe intent. An unspoken caveat and aura. For this photo I used a prime lens during lockdown, one of the few photographers allowed to roam an empty Lagos. @PuleTaukobong had called days earlier, insisting I find a way to shoot how Lagos would handle the pandemic. He sent me $2,000 unprompted. I went straight to the Surulere dealership and bought a CRV. With the car and my sticker I toured an impossible landscape: an empty Lagos. A place that normally swarmed with at least 300 people per square metre. As flâneur of this great city I knew I was lucky. Driving at 20 km/h approaching Ojuelegba from Tejuosho, I saw this man behind the bars of a shopping complex by GTB. Enveloped by a spirit, I braked hard- no cars behind me or anywhere. I got out, walked straight to him. Click, click. Years later, over dinner at the Folawiyos hosting LACMA guests from Los Angeles, Mr Femi Akinsanya pulled me aside and said how much he revered the picture. In his words: “Logo, you see I placed it right above my favourite Olowe of Ise sculpture. Can’t explain, but they fit in powerful ways, just like the way you see the world.” Today, digging for assets for the rebrand of my new company, I found the deck and saw these pictures again. A journey through evidence: the people and methods of understanding and measuring the great conundrum of human behaviour-for commerce, for posterity, for arts, for testimony. Its ebb and flow like the lines of the bars in front of the quaint smiles or stoicism through it all. It’s all coming together.

I’m well aware of all the stages it takes to get to bloom but I can’t wait to show what a Logor blooming is. Between me and patience, the tension is real… I feel like I’m Kanye on verse 2 of can’t tell me nothin’ but with the measured enthusiasm of Jay Z on Reasonable Doubt. Can I Live?

This is the era for aura maxxing, this is the Era to be Okotie Eboh meet Pretty Mike. This is the era to be shining light on full brightness. The people are starving for mystery and folklore. This is the age for new empires and new gods. Lean into the symbolisms and entertain the people, they are hungry. It’s the era of overkaku maxxing…
I have just informed my colleagues that I will step down as @ECB President on 7 February 2027. It has been a source of great pride to serve this institution. I thank all of those who have supported me on this journey over the past seven years.

And please don’t be a young taker - always reaching out for favors like people are an ATM you just go to withdraw whenever you want. Build real relationships and be helpful. People know when you’re just around them to use their access and that’s why they dont take you seriously.
The career moves you make in your 20s really do shape your 30s, no doubt. But as someone now in their 30s, I’ve realised that some of your biggest investments are the relationships you built along the way. That’s where your real capital is (or at least most of it)

We have built an infrastructure through which informal markets become machine-readable. I can’t wait to tell you all about but the need for branding to go alongside building means I have to chill but my fingers are itching to start shouting and showing the world.

Integrity is the moat.
One of my Achilles’ heels in my business dealings with people is underestimating how money can change a person (or reveal who they really are?) Sometimes I think, “Yeah, I can work with this person,” until money enters the conversation and shifts the whole dynamic. Humbles me all the time.

Foreign reserves are up, and everyone you know still feels broke. Both can be true. Reserves are the state's savings. The derica of rice is yours. Macro stability is a precondition, not a dividend, and nobody at the market is paid in preconditions unfortunately…

You won't believe this, but cloves were once worth more than gold. They fueled ancient trade routes, made Ferdinand Magellan sail the world, sparked brutal colonial wars, and birthed the modern global economy.
I didn't know there was a spiritual side to clove
