Dr Nasisiphi Moya has done so much to fix the mess the DA left in Tshwane only for this stupid city to hand it back over to the DA

No, Sibadala
Local government elections are not the same as national and provincial. You're voting for a councillor in your ward, so you can only vote where you're registered. That's how it works.
The IEC told us over and over to check. They sent SMSs, put ads on radio and TV, and you could check on the website or just SMS your ID number. It takes two minutes.
Maybe some people's details were captured wrong, I won't deny that can happen. But that's exactly why we were told to check early, so it could be fixed before today.
So no, I can't excuse an adult who didn't bother to check where they're registered and now wants to blame the IEC. Take accountability. Next time, check early.
Kwasuka lokho, and she is likely not the only individual experiencing this issue. These are local elections meant to address the needs of residents within their own municipalities. Requiring her to vote in a different city for a mayor who will not represent her interests raises serious concerns about the effectiveness and fairness of the electoral process the IEC administers! @IECSouthAfrica, shame on you!

Ok, it’s been fun on American twitter watching them celebrating their election results, I need my algorithm to switch and South Africans to lock in now
