Kalen DeBoer this morning on the status of Dre Kirkpatrick Jr.: "He's not with us. We have an expectation and a standard in our program. Team rules. Things that go along with that. There’s still some details I’m trying to understand. It’s enough to where we know that’s not how we operate.” al.com/alabamafootball/2026/…

Will Philip Rivers leave St. Michael to become the next coach at N.C. State? Here's my take from covering him for the past 6 seasons. #alpreps al.com/highschoolsports/2026…

Will Philip Rivers become the next head coach at N.C. State?

It's not unreasonable to think future NFL Hall of Fame QB Philip Rivers could return to N.C. State as head coach.

Alabama missed 23 tackles vs. Tennessee, a season-high, per PFF. Previous high was 15 against South Carolina. The context I'd offer here is that Vols had the ball 35:44, and without much of an offense, Alabama defense was gassed as game went on.
