It was alleged that the assistant coach used abusive and/or insulting words around the 50th minute of the match, leading to his dismissal. Ashley Vincent subsequently admitted the charge and accepted the standard penalty.

David Clough supported Rochdale his whole life, home and away. When he died in 2020, he left the club a large sum of money in his will. Now there's a statue of him in the exact spot where he sat for home games. He's still got his seat, and that's how it should be ❤️
