BREAKING: In a powerful move, Rep. Robert Garcia, who will Chair the House Oversight Committee once Democrats win tonight, just announced he will be overseeing the quick introduction of investigations into the Trump family's corruption and ties to the Epstein files. Let's go.

Section 4 of the 25 Amendment explicitly says that, “The House of Representatives has the authority to investigate and vote to impeach both the president and the vice president concurrently, if both are accused of "Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.” ✅

PETE HEGSETH: THE FIRST POLITICAL CASUALTY OF TRUMP’S MIDTERM DEFEAT? Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth could become one of the biggest political casualties of the Republican Party’s 2026 midterm defeat. His controversial handling of the Iran war, which critics argue was driven by Netanyahu’s influence and a failure to adequately weigh America’s strategic interests, may have helped turn voters against Trump and his administration. His repeated removal of experienced generals and senior military officials has also raised serious questions about his judgment, leadership and politicization of the military. With reports of growing frustration among White House insiders and calls for personnel changes, Hegseth could become the administration’s first major casualty of the electoral backlash. As Democrats are poised to take control of both the US Senate and the US House of Representatives, he will face a much tougher battle: congressional investigations, subpoenas, public hearings and potentially impeachment proceedings. In many ways, Hegseth could become the face of a costly foreign-policy gamble that Republicans will struggle to defend.

The huge result for Democrats might set the stage for a deal to end the Iran war, both in Washington and Tehran. The risk of major military escalation has diminished. Hegseth is totally discredited and will be forced to resign before the Democrats come in and impeach him. CENTCOM isn’t going to let him go scorched earth if he isn’t even going to be around in two months. Bessent sees the writing on the wall and will try to resuscitate his reputation by distancing himself from the war. The organizations feeding bad policy advice into Treasury, like FDD, have been exposed as being arsonists who don’t care about American voters or American interests. Rubio realizes he won’t be president any time soon and will devote all of his energy to Cuba, the issue he cares about most of all. Kushner and Witkoff are going to be subject to huge congressional scrutiny next year and will want to tie things up and step back from mediation. Vance is somewhat vindicated in his opposition to the war and will be able to take more control over the file. His only pathway to a viable run in 2028 is to fix the disaster Trump waltzed into. Trump will want to pretend the Iran war never happened and go back to building his ballroom. Even if he is angry and vengeful, as some had suggested he would be, there will be more resistance within the administration for further escalation. He is weak and erratic and easily manipulated—he was goaded into the war and now he’ll be chided out of it. For Iranian leaders, the election results give them their big and decisive victory. They can create a narrative that they won the war and destroyed Trump’s political project—the postmortems published in the next few days in U.S. papers and broadcast on TV will give them plenty of fodder. This narrative of a Trump defeat will actually make it easier to build consensus over a deal with the US, especially one that requires the types of concessions being pushed by mediators. Maybe, just maybe, the strong antiwar vote across the US gives us a generational opportunity to end the cycle of sanctions and violence that has driven the US and Iran to a senseless conflict. The American and Iranian people can be united in that hope.

Hallelujah! Donald lame-Duck. But let’s hope the Looney-Tunes left wing of the Democrat party can be reined in. At the same time let’s hope Congress will find a way to bring Trump to justice, for his corrupt use of the presidency to enrich himself, for his criminal attempted coup when he lost the 2020 election, and for besmirching the dignity of the presidency.

Trump will REMAIN President, but what he CAN'T do now: 1. *Can't pass any law:* Needs Parliament. With Democrats at 90, all his bills will be blocked. 2. *Can't get money:* Parliament controls the budget. No funding for his MAGA projects, Wall etc. 3. *Faces Impeachment Risk:* Democrats can start investigations and even move impeachment. 4. *Can't appoint Judges/Officials freely:* Senate will block his picks. 5. *Can't do big foreign deals:* Trade deals, war funding needs Parliament nod. In short: He will stay in the White House, sign Executive Orders, but Parliament and Courts can overturn them. He becomes a *Lame Duck President* - President in name, powerless in reality. #USMidterms

Has common sense finally been restored?
🚨🇺🇸 NBC is forecasting a 75-seat Democratic majority in the House, bigger than the 2006 Iraq backlash or the 2010 Tea Party wave In 2006 Democrats picked up 31 seats on the Iraq War; in 2010 Republicans took 63 on Obamacare. Tonight's wave ran through Texas, Kansas and the Carolinas on an eight-month Iran war and $4 gas, and NBC's exit poll had 62 percent of voters disapproving of the president. A 75-seat margin means Jeffries doesn't need the socialists or the moderates to pass anything, it means the Iran oversight hearings start with a supermajority on every committee, and it means the 2028 map Republicans assumed for a decade got redrawn in one night. BREAKING: Democrats have officially won both the House of Representatives and the Senate in a historic midterm sweep, ending total Republican control of Washington and opening the door to a third impeachment of Donald Trump, alongside major investigations into his administration and the Iran war, per major network projections. Democrats secured at least 218 seats to flip the House, with CNN, CBS and Decision Desk HQ calling the chamber for the party. CNN also projected a Democratic Senate takeover, marking a major blow to Trump and potentially turning him into a lame duck. The Democratic takeover gives the party control of congressional committees, subpoena powers and the ability to launch impeachment proceedings, putting Trump’s remaining two years in office under intense pressure.

The biggest benefits claimant in the UK. They claim an eye watering £17,500,000,000 a year. The same as 4.4m people on benefits. How? Because they claim ALL their costs, every wage, every oil rig, every tanker. Completely nationalised, but the profits are Privatised.
At what point do we stop focusing on who needs to pay more tax and start asking where all of our tax money is going.
