My family literally blames me (transmasc) for my little brother being transmasc. Most of them think I’m a “bad influence” and am “grooming” him. One of my conservative uncles won’t let me, my fiance, or my brother near his kids. Transmascs/trans men ARE seen as groomers+dangerous

years before i came out, my younger sister experimented with her gender and went by a male name for a while. the blame was placed squarely on her transmasc friend/partner at the time. "social contagion" the theory is interpersonal between trans men, other trans men get the blame

Because they often lead to complex relationships to identity. Many plurals are "contradictory" such as being a lesbian AND a gay man, or being trans and cis. Many alterhumans feel their species affects how they experience attraction. Both experiences are definitely queer
