Crypto market cap illusion explained! š„
What I call the āmarket cap illusionā, is the completely conceptual idea, that market cap equates to actual dollars. IT DOESNT
Market cap is simply a mathematical equation. The number you get as a result of that equation is not an actual dollar value.
Market cap = current price x circulating supply.
THATS IT.
So when someoneās says āthat coin can never reach that price because the market cap would be way too high! Thereās not enough money in the world for that!ā
Tell them they donāt know what theyāre talking about.
Price determines market cap. Market cap doesnāt determine price.
Coins like $XRP will be the coins to break this illusion. š
Hey @elonmusk can you add a feature on @X that acts as a buffer when you click a link on here?
If you click a link on X have it bring up a warning:
āā ļø You are leaving X do you wish to continue ?ā ļøā
So that way when youāre scrolling comments and the THOUSANDS of bots posting scam links you donāt accidentally click on one and get compromised. It would be such a great feature.
The digital chaos that has ensued over the past month is crazy, what would be the icing on the cake right now?
The Japan carry tradeāa full scale unwind. Just rip the bandaid off lol
Am I right? Lol š

In these crazy times within the digital world, specifically crypto here are some key things to remember ESPECIALLY when emotions are high and you are potentially in panic.
Some of this is pretty basic but stick with me.
-Never share your seed phrase or private keys with anyone. That includes āsupport,ā friends, websites, AI chats, and anyone claiming to help recover your funds.
- Keep your seed phrase offline. Avoid screenshots, phone photos, email, cloud storage, or digital notes. Secure a physical backup against theft, fire, and water.
-Never enter your seed into a website claiming your wallet needs protection, verification, or migration.
-Verify the full destination address. Clipboard malware and address-poisoning scams exploit lookalike addresses; donāt copy recipients from transaction history.
-Reject unexpected wallet promptsāeven on a site youāve used before. Stop if it suddenly asks for new approvals, signatures, downloads, or recovery information.
-Treat unexpected āsecurity alertsā as untrusted. Donāt click their links, open attachments, scan QR codes, reply, or call the supplied number.
- Donāt trust an email just because it comes from a legitimate sender. A compromised email provider allows attackers to send phishing through its newsletter account.
- Slow down when a message invokes the recent hacks. āYour funds are exposedāact immediatelyā is exactly the fear scammers exploit.
- A legitimate platform will never tell you to transfer your assets to a āsafe walletā or any nonsense like that.
Always verify the best you can especially now. Iād honestly be transacting as little as possible and getting crypto OFF central exchanges.
Thereās always levels to security but in these times of AI itās hard to know if anything is safe.
Everyone in one breath saying:
āThe government hates you! They lie constantly, you canāt trust them!ā
In their next breath:
āThe government is warning us to be prepared for 90 days! They know something is coming we better trust them and listen!ā
You people have cognitive dissonance and ZERO critical thought.
