Hello @_Scott16, we are currently making backend changes related to monetization as part of an A/B experiment, so you may see ads for now. After analysing the results, we will show ads only to randomly selected accounts. Why did we introduce ads? Midas has recently started its Ambassador Program, with multiple upcoming events planned. We introduced ads to help manage some of the associated expenses. Midas infrastructure and server costs are sponsored by our community team. We have also applied to the Google for Startups program and are currently on the waitlist to scale the project. We do not depend on ad revenue to run Midas. Why was there no announcement? Midas is currently conducting A/B experiments with ads, and not everyone is being shown ads. This is why we have not made any public announcement yet. As per our roadmap, Midas has only one year of expansion time, and certain parts of the project need additional support to manage other expenses. Why ads showing you long? Ads length are not under the control of Midas, it is provide by the ads provider as per your activity, Still we looking into it to keep as short as possible We hope you understand.
