In 2020 Trump turned over the Afghani people to the Taliban solely to improve his reelection prospects. In 2026 he’s trying to help Putin subjugate Ukraine in order to have a more favorable outcome in the November elections. Absolutely disgraceful. History will judge him accordingly.

If you heard anybody claiming that we have states where a child goes to school as “Tim” and comes back as “Tammy” you’d literally call them a mentally-ill dimwit. It’s hard to know which is sadder: that we have such a demented president who would say such crap, or a president who has such contempt for his audience that he knows he can say literally anything and they’ll clap, or that there are people in our country who actually believe it (or at the very least just shrug it off..)

Brace yourselves: Trump is only going to accept the upcoming election results if he likes them. Otherwise as always he’s going to say the results were rigged. And his bottom-feeder, tinpot social media influencers on this platform and elsewhere are going to parrot him.

Xi’s visit is making clear he has zero respect for Trump. Just look at his body language. His head tilted to one side, his bored facial expression, and his posture: all broadcast disrespect and contempt. Just like the photo yesterday on the red carpet on the tarmac. Xi, Putin, all of the leaders in Europe, and everyday people did I talk with daily around the world consider him a demented, supremely dimwitted clown.

No matter how much Trump’s worshippers try to deify their Dear Leader North Korean style, the fact of the matter is he spends all of his time: 1) making stupid, adolescent-level memes 2) posting ludicrous self-glorifying AI generated videos 3) writing long, rambling incoherent nonsense on his failing social media platform 4) dedicating untold hours to his stupid vanity projects—like the ballroom, the arch, and the reflecting pool 5) trying to put his name on everything possible —like a dog mindlessly pissing on every fire hydrant 6) hawking crap like the Trump phone and his MAGA Bible 7) puttering around golf courses in his little cart 8) holding “praise the Dear Leader” cabinet meetings 9) attending rallys so he can wallow in the worship of his hopelessly infatuated cult members 10) attacking our friends and allies while ass-kissing Putin and Kim Jong Un This is the crap they voted for? As long as America is afflicted with such bitter anger, hatred, and division—all by design BTW—the potential for something even worse than Trump exists. It comes down to our elected officials… if they truly cared about our country, they would work to heal the division and a tone down the emotions. Instead, they exacerbate them for disgusting self-serving purposes. Our politicians are the problem. Trump is just a symptom.

If you were to have an honest conversation with Donald Trump, he would probably confide that he believes all of politics is just a ruthless, vicious, no-holds-barred struggle that has as its ultimate goal the acquisition of absolute and permanent power; that democracy is just window dressing, and any rules for the peaceful acquisition and transfer of power are just a facade. Vladimir Putin, Kim Jong Un, Xi JinPing and the rest of history’s despots would certainly wholeheartedly agree with that assessment. This is why he probably has no intention of honoring the democratic process unless the results are favorable to him. This is also why he is working to 1) tilt elections in his favor through gerrymandering and voting restrictions, 2) sew distrust in democracy itself, 3) undermine faith in our journalism, and 4) stoke cynicism in the judiciary when judges don’t rubber stamp his actions, among other things. You can bet therefore his ultimate goal is to establish a one-party autocracy with him as its absolute and unassailable leader. This year’s elections will reveal how far he’s willing to go to achieve that goal.

Trump posts stupid nonsense solely to get an emotional reaction—either disgust or further infatuation. He’s a two-bit entertainer who not only thrives on stoking the public’s emotions, it’s the only thing his dimwitted brain knows how to do. It literally drives every aspect of his administration’s policy and public behavior. The idiotic trade war with Canada, the stupid shackling of our renewable energy industry, the mindless cruelty towards immigrants, etc are all meant to perversely delight his supporters, and torment the rest. Don’t fall into his trap: recognize his twisted shenanigans and don’t let them get under your skin.

It’ll be a great and historic day when Americans finally realize that the true enemies are not your fellow citizens, not immigrants, Muslims, people of color, liberals, conservatives, Jewish people, etc., but rather the coalition of our power-addicted career politicians and their powerful special interest allies. They purposely seek to divide us into mutually-hating tribes in their vicious pursuit of ever more power and wealth for themselves. Our reelection-obsessed politicians are the root of our problems.

Power is the most addictive thing of all. This is why our politicians’ first priority is staying in power and supporting the special interest that helped them achieve that. This is truly the root of our problems. Real change starts by making it nearly impossible to get addicted to power. Let’s get rid of reelection.
