Lots of references to 'working people' - which doesn;t include pensioners...

Well - at @AegonUK we've been exploring the many opportunities of the #second50 - guess we'll need to add in the #third50 - well done!

The tension!
10 years ago today, @KateBushMusic's Before the Dawn began 🎂
I'm surprised more has not been written about this important anniversary.
In any case, I know @katebushnews will salute one of Bush's most important career moments:
In 1978, I read @StephenKing #TheShining and it's been my favourite novel since. But no longer. After 46 years and 2000+ novels, Chris Whitaker's #AlltheColoursoftheDark is my new all time favourite. Thank you @WhittyAuthor for this masterpiece - I and many others are in awe.
In nearly 600 pages @WhittyAuthor combines Dennis Lehane’s grit and the human rawness of top-tier Steinbeck in All The Colours Of The Dark

Work and leisure crossing here for me @willrdean . My co - Aegon - is exploring the #second50 - 2nd part of what can now be a 100 year life. Key message - it's uncharted territory (bit like the sea bed #Chamber) and unique to everyone. Advice to younger self - think ahead.
Congratulations @johnmarrs1 - just could be your best yet and that's saying something. Fantastic characters - real and virtual - five stars from me.
Really disappointing to see the social care deal and the £86k cap ditched. Fairly sharing costs between individuals and state long overdue.

Looks like a lot of the #pensionreview will focus on getting more pension money into UK investment. But that NEEDS to be shown as in member interests.
So after 14 years of Labour pains, what might the new Government's pension review give birth to?

So @RachelReevesMP - should we read anything into you ducking the question this morning about the #UKISA ? Think many would have liked you to confirm you see it as a gimmick.
Fully agree with your Top 3 @HelloMcQueen and would add in VFM framework as a fourth - building block for much else to follow.

So... who will be our next #pensionsminister ? Looking forward to another busy time ahead for #pensionspolicy

Thanks @ProfParaplanner for covering this story. Always good to have some insight into future value of the state pension - even if just on assumptions for the future.

Are the @Conservatives really predicting earnings wont increase by more than 2.5% in any of the 4 years between 2026 and 2029?
Good to see @Ruth_Emery and @_StevenCameron put some numbers to the Conservatives policy on triple lock after my own estimates last week.

The manifesto you've all been waiting for is out today (no, not Count Binface, good though it is); the SNP are promising triple lock, compensation for WASPI (cue @JohnRalfe1) and a wellbeing pension. Anyone know what a wellbeing pension is? Answers on a haggis...
