Arrogance is a disease that can betray you into forgetting your real friends and why they’re so important. Even with the best of intentions, too much hubris will stir up other people’s ire and their desire to put you in your place.

Continuity is good for Lagos state but 3.0 is bad for Oyo State, their governor is even explaining.
Most of you know this story, but none of you have heard it from me.
Back in September 2018, Femi Hamzat wanted to be Governor of Lagos State. He had thirteen years of public service under Asiwaju and BRF, with the record and backing to win. Then party leaders asked him to step aside for me.
It takes a rare man to put down what he wants without nursing a grudge. Femi shook my hand and five weeks later, agreed to run beside me. I have never forgotten that.
Anyone can read a CV but only the person in the room with a man when the cameras leave can tell you who he really is. For 2,711 days, I have been in that room with him.
When COVID-19 hit, when we faced our hardest weeks, when the Blue and Red Lines ran and when the Lekki Deep Sea Port opened, Femi was there. Long before any ribbon was cut, he was asking the tough questions an engineer asks.
In many states, deputies are kept in reserve. On day one, Femi promised to be the best deputy governor in Lagos history. He kept his word. In seven years, there has not been a single day I wondered whose side he was on. We have had one government, one direction, and one voice.
Lagos runs on a relay system. The baton is never passed to a runner standing still. You run at full speed inside the exchange zone, together, before the pass. That is how Lagos has been governed for 27 years, from Asiwaju to BRF, to Ambode, to me.
Femi is a deputy governor like no other. He built the Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge under Fashola, digitized government under Asiwaju and holds a doctorate in engineering. His father served Lateef Jakande. This is in his blood.
Critics say Lagos keeps choosing from the same pool. I say Lagos trains its people. With major projects underway and a master plan stretching to 2052, this is not the time to experiment. What Femi presents today is not a campaign promise cooked up on a bus, it is the next leg of a race we have been running since 1999.
Lagos does not hand the baton to a man standing still. Today, you have seen the man who is already running. Let us move forward together with The Lagos PROMISE.

Aside acting as the Governor whenever Seyi Makinde is away (which has happened multiple times), Oyo State Deputy Governor under Seyi Makinde oversees:
1. The Housing Corporation
2. Ministry of Justice
3. Ministry of Culture and Tourism
4. Ministry of Establishments and Training
5. Ministry of Special Duties
Now, show me the ministry Moses Alake Adeyemo oversaw as Deputy Governor under APC. You have 48 hours.
Even the RAAMP project in the state, it’s under his supervision.

I came to Oyo State as corp member. Seyi added 15k to our allawe and additional 13th month. It was the money I saved up to learn fashion. Now I have 5 workers. And my office is at Akobo with good roads built by Seyi. Tell me why I won’t support him.
The problem I have with the crop of youth like Pamilerin is that, they don’t know how to chop and mind their business. Now, his anger is because people are doing for free, what he is being paid massively to do for Tinubu.
PR is about reach and mention, there’s a massive PR for Seyi Makinde which is mostly voluntary due to his good works and antecedent, Tinubu and APC released massive amount for PR, yet they’re being drowned by #ResetNigeria team. This is the basis of their anger, not only him but most influencers, this anger has turned to hatred, hatred has turned to poison and poison will consume their soul
Evidence is littered on his timeline. He has always been a fan of Seyi Makinde, but when you build your entire career around being a paid mouthpiece, you will struggle to do for free, things that are just right. It doesn’t matter what’s right or wrong, what matters to Pamilerjn and his fellow PR merchant is payment. That is why they’re all supporting Tinubu who is a pay master and that is why they struggle to understand how Seyi is getting such massive mention despite not spending like their principal.
Let this be a lesson to you guys out there, just do the right thing. Providence will be in your favour when the time comes. Same providence is in Seyi Makinde’s favour and same providence is why opposition and grifters such as Pamilerin are embittered and confused as to why he is getting so much support, for free. Need I mention that Pamilerin has always been a huge fan of Seyi Makinde, it is money and business that turned him into what he is now. It’s all about money for those guys.
No soul, no guts no glory, just money. Need I say that if Pamilerin keeps coming for Seyi Makinde unprovoked, this will be my last sane and civilise tweet against him. I will be coming in hard for anything that has Adegoke as last name

"When I became Commissioner for Finance in 2016, I met 11 months of salary arrears. I have witnesses, including Mr Oyadeyi, Mrs Fasina and others. We received bailouts from the Federal Government and Paris Club refunds, and spent ₦20 billion clearing the arrears. I also advocated for the prioritization of workers' salaries. By the time I left office in 2019, we had cleared all outstanding salary arrears."
