The President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, Prof. Aktoty Raimkulova, addressed the OTS Council of Foreign Ministers meeting in Ankara, held within the framework of the 13th OTS Summit 🇹🇷 She highlighted the Foundation’s achievements, including 200+ projects dedicated to preserving and promoting the shared cultural heritage of the Turkic world, advancing the Turkic Heritage Digital Platform, strengthening legal protection of cultural assets, and expanding international cooperation. She also congratulated Azerbaijan 🇦🇿 on the successful completion of its OTS chairmanship, emphasizing the importance of continued cooperation in safeguarding the common heritage of Turkic peoples.

🇹🇷 The President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, Prof. Aktoty Raimkulova, met with the newly appointed President of the Yunus Emre Institute, Prof. Dr. Selim Argun, in Ankara. The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation in preserving, researching and promoting the shared cultural heritage of the Turkic peoples. The parties discussed expanding collaboration with the Yunus Emre Institute and its cultural centres worldwide, encouraging their participation in and support for the Foundation’s projects, and developing future joint initiatives, including publications, scientific and cultural events, and digital projects to promote Turkic heritage internationally.

On 28 October 2026, in Ankara, Prof. Dr. Aktoty Raimkulova, President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, met with Serdar Çam, Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Türkiye 🇹🇷. The meeting addressed the preservation, research, restoration, digitization and international promotion of the shared cultural heritage of the Turkic peoples, as well as the implementation of joint initiatives and projects planned for 2027.

The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, H.E. Mr. Ilham Aliyev, addressed the opening ceremony of the 7th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue in Baku, highlighting the Forum’s role over the past 15 years as an important international platform for intercultural dialogue and discussions on global challenges. The two-volume “Turkistan” Encyclopedia was presented in Astana on October 22 with the support of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation and the Ministry of Culture and Information of Kazakhstan. The 880-page scholarly publication brings together the contributions of over 300 researchers and examines more than 4,000 names, terms and concepts, highlighting Turkistan’s historical and spiritual significance in Turkic civilization. At the ceremony, the Foundation conferred the honorary title of “Ambassador of Turkic Culture and Heritage” upon Academicians Darkhan Kydyrali and Adil Akhmetov for their contributions to the study and promotion of #TurkicHeritage

On October 21, the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation presented its newly published play collection “Khagani” at the 12th Baku International Book Fair. The collection brings together three plays dedicated to the life and literary legacy of the great Azerbaijani poet Khagani Shirvani, contributing to the preservation and promotion of his rich cultural heritage.

The book “Korifey” by renowned Kazakh writer Sauytbek Abdrakhmanov, published in Azerbaijani with the support of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, was presented at the 12th Baku International Book Fair. The publication celebrates the legacy of Abish Kekilbayev and strengthens literary and cultural ties across the Turkic world. 🇦🇿🇰🇿

On October 19, 2026, President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, Professor Aktoty Raimkulova, met with Dogdurbek Chontoev, Rector of Kyrgyz National University named after Yusuf Balasaguni, during her working visit to the Kyrgyz Republic. The meeting focused on strategic cooperation, joint scientific and cultural initiatives, and the new development concept of the Turkic Heritage Center operating under the University. Professor Raimkulova highly appreciated the Center’s plans to strengthen its research capacity and advance the academic study and promotion of the shared cultural heritage of the Turkic peoples. The parties expressed their commitment to further strengthening their partnership and expanding joint initiatives.

An official reception marking Turkic States Cooperation Day (3 October) was held in Istanbul on 8 October, hosted by the Organization of Turkic States (OTS). The event brought together TCHF President Prof. Dr. Aktoty Raimkulova, heads of Turkic world organizations, senior officials, and diplomatic representatives. The reception also recognized @Turkic_States Secretary General H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev’s contributions to strengthening cooperation and solidarity across the Turkic world as he approaches the completion of his four-year term. @KubanOmurali

The Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation and the Turkic World Foundation are strengthening cooperation to promote the shared heritage of Turkic peoples. On 8 October 2026, Prof. Dr. Aktoty Raimkulova met with Prof. Dr. Nabi Avcı, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Turkic World Foundation. During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Nabi Avcı was awarded the honorary title of “Ambassador of Turkic Culture and Heritage” in recognition of his valuable contributions to cultural cooperation and the preservation of shared heritage.

On October 2, during the working visit to Kazakhstan, Prof. Aktoty Raimkulova, President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, met with H.E. Mr. Mukhtar Tleuberdi, Minister of Foreign Affairs 🇰🇿. They reviewed the Foundation’s key achievements in 2024–2026 and discussed priority initiatives to preserve, study and promote Turkic cultural heritage, strengthen cultural ties across the Turkic world, and further develop cooperation with Kazakhstan.
