❗️MATCH ANNOUNCEMENT❗️
Singles Match:
#BuzzsawSamuels vs @K_Shibata2022
In April 2023, Buzzsaw Samuels collapsed backstage after a match in San Antonio and was rushed to the hospital. He then underwent emergency surgery to remove a tumor from his brain essentially ending his wrestling career at the time.
Through hard work and the miracles of modern medicine, Buzzsaw was able to come back at our 6-Year Anniversary Event in late 2024 and has been a staple of our roster ever since!
He squares off against Japanese Legend and AEW Star Katsuyori Shibata who also went through a career threatening brain injury and emergency surgery in 2017 but also has been able to make a return to Pro Wrestling in an incredible way!
Through the help of the great people at AEW, Buzzsaw gets his dream match against Katsuyori Shibata at our 8-Year Anniversary Celebration in the biggest match of his career and a marquee match for the ages here at New Texas.
Buzzsaw wrestled on our very first show in October of 2018 (wrestling as Connor Crunk), in a fatal four way back in Colorado City! This one is one for the record books and we promise you won’t want to miss it!

You get to see established Texas wrestlers in @OdayLevantSaint who reinvents himself EVERY SINGLE TIME!! His creative brain is UNMATCHED and he wrestles like his life depends on it.

I genuinely think @texascontenders is a gem of a promotion to watch. It’s every other Thursday and boy is it ENTERTAINING. Whether you’re home finishing up work, eating your take out- I genuinely suggest tuning into Contenders series and they go live on YouTube!

.@theCharityKing_ is what this industry needs more of 🖤
They got young people with a year or less under their belt who are fighting to be seen, learning, and getting better each time. So many young people!! @mackinthebox_ , Kitty Hisatomi, Alexia Ivy, Kaliko, Django and many others all with so much potential!

I can’t believe that I was his last match. His first match in WWE was the day I was born and it’s full circle how things come to pass.
I thank Zach for the honor of sharing the ring with him for his final time and encouragement to me to keep dreaming .✨
Beyond blessed to be given the opportunity to host @ZachGowen last match in professional wrestling!
A truly remarkable performer and an even better human being who remains an inspiration for so many.
