If you switch to the English version of a K-drama, either before watching or halfway through, you're not a true fan. Real K-drama fans watch with the original Korean audio, reading the subtitles and paying attention to every scene. That's how it's meant to be enjoyed.

Issue with ANC was never about policies but it's their arrogance, corruption, incompetence and lack of accountability.

They've done the minimum; we expected a lot under the BLACK governance.
Whether one likes it or not, the ANC has done a lot for this country, for black people, for democracy.

Guys, it once happened to me. I'm registered at the voting station around the corner but when I got there, they said im placed elsewhere. I even presented a screenshot and my address to show them that i was registered to vote here. They still said I must go to the one im placed at. Mind you my mom and I vote in the same place. It literally happened to my friend's grandmother today. Who's registered and has been voting around the corner all these years. Today she got there and was told she's placed in a different station. They had to call a car from that voting station to pick her up.
We said “check your registration status” the ENTIRE registration period. We need to laugh at every single crash out ngoku, because niphambene mos 😂

Having grown up only knowing Jerry Springer for trash tv that exploited the mentally ill and abnormal for laughs and profit, it’s WILD seeing his show in this format, actually giving a voice to the voiceless without canned laugher.
At 7 years old Tweaky Dave was selling heroin for his father. At 9 his father shot him in the stomach and walked away. At 10 he was doing prostitution on Hollywood streets to survive. By 19 he was a heroin addict dying of leukemia and refusing treatment. He died shortly after this interview. Twenty years later his jacket became the center of a fashion controversy involving Kanye West. He sat on the Jerry Springer Show and told this story like it happened to someone else. In the video below, Dave walks through a childhood that most people couldn't survive a single week of - and Jerry Springer sits across from him visibly struggling to process what he's hearing. Dave said he started selling dope for his dad at 7. Said it was the family business. Said he didn't see anything wrong with it at the time. Then at 9 he kicked open the wrong door. His father was bagging dope with customers in the room. Next thing Dave knew he was on the floor bleeding. His father walked away. The hooker next door called an ambulance. Dave ran to Hollywood to become a rock star. Was 9 years old. The system put him in placements. He ran. They locked him up. He ran again. Trusted nobody. Said cops treated runaways like criminals. Started prostitution at 10 because it was the only way to eat. Stopped at 16 after watching two friends die of AIDS. Found a dismembered body in a Beverly Hills dumpster one night. Said it happens all the time. Asked what keeps him going he said: the 8-year-olds he meets on the street. He doesn't want them to go through ten years of what he went through. He didn't get much longer to help them. Is Tweaky Dave a cautionary tale about what happens when every system fails a child, or proof that some people find a reason to keep going no matter what?

YOUNG ATTORNEY SHOT DEAD IN ELDORADO PARK A young Johannesburg attorney was shot dead alongside another person in Eldorado Park. Police say Nadine Meintjes and a male passenger were found inside a Toyota Urban Cruiser at the Klipspruit West off-ramp on Monday, 2 November. The vehicle had several bullet holes in the driver’s door. Both occupants had sustained fatal gunshot wounds and were declared dead at the scene. Police are investigating two counts of murder. No arrests have been made and, at this stage, the motive for the shooting remains unknown. Netwerk24 reports that Meintjes, 30, worked on several cases in the Johannesburg area, including court matters linked to gangs in Eldorado Park. However, there is currently no evidence establishing that her legal work was connected to her death. Her killing has sent shockwaves through the legal fraternity. The tragedy has also raised a difficult question about the risks faced by those working in the justice system. Legal professionals should be able to represent clients, argue cases and carry out their duties without having to wonder whether their work could put their own safety at risk. For those who studied and worked alongside Meintjes, her death is also the loss of a colleague whose career was still unfolding. Police investigations are continuing. What’s worse is that Sithelo Shozi is the only person on earth that he can style properly. Without her, idk what will happen to him.
Fashion stylist, Phupho Gumede is currently in court, he is in a big fight with Sithelo for not delivering, Allegedly. The pair have worked together numerous times and have created some beautiful looks. However, they are no longer following each other on IG. Someone close to the source has revealed to Maphepha Ndaba the alleged reason.

At 1 year old Beth Thomas was being abused by her own father and left for days with almost nothing to eat. At 19 months she was adopted by a pastor and his wife, who were told she was a normal, healthy baby. By 6 she was smashing her little brother's head into a concrete floor and her parents were locking her bedroom door every night to keep him alive. Thirty years later she's a nurse who takes care of newborns. In 1990 she sat in front of a therapist's camera and talked about killing her family like it was a story about someone else. In the video below 6-year-old Beth swings her legs in a pink dress and answers every question in the same small, flat voice, while the therapist across from her tries very hard not to react. She says her brother is afraid of her. She says her parents lock her door at night so she won't hurt him. Asked if she would, she says yes, at night, because she doesn't like them seeing her do it, "but they can feel me do it." Asked what she'd use, she says a knife. Asked if she sticks pins in her brother, she says a lot, and that she's trying to kill him. Then he asks why, and for one second you hear the little girl underneath it all: "Cuz I was hurt so bad." She had squeezed baby birds to death and hidden knives from the kitchen. Doctors said her brain had learned before she could talk that nobody was safe, so she would hurt everyone first. It took years of intense therapy and a new adoptive mother. Beth grew up, earned a nursing degree and now spends her days keeping babies alive. Was Beth a born monster, or proof that a child can come back from almost anything if someone finally refuses to give up on her?
