The first day of October is about to end, and I am already behind on decorating for Halloween.

So close and yet …

Minnesota winter finally gets its groove back. Hopefully, Minnesota spring is somewhere nearby saying, “Hold my beer.”

It was a unique audience/marketshare opportunity to acquire The Athletic.

I grew up listening to the Beatles while my friends listened to Duran Duran. … “Now and Then” is the Beatles song I never knew I needed. Can’t stop playing it. So many feelings. What a gift! xitter.gq/_ToddStone/status/1723…

Dash of snow is no match for our Halloween porch pirates.

Back in Houston …

The equivalent of a Vikings screen pass …

Schumer’s statement on Menendez won’t age well. This isn’t simply a “matter” to be “resolved.” This is a major criminal indictment. The Senate Majority Leader needs to demonstrate he recognizes the gravity of the allegations.

Looking forward to seeing ⁦@JerrySeinfeld⁩ at the Orpheum in Minneapolis. Great seats, but not sure I’m close enough to see if Jerry wants to get a drink after the show.

So much for the short-sleeve shirts I pulled out from the basement…

Nothing quite like an Easter egg hunt hangover …

My kids’ chocolate Easter Bunny could be the lead in a horror film — The Bunny Bites Back.

Yup, spring is just around the corner.

Never thought Disney would sign off on a Star Wars show where we are supposed to root for a guy who really, really wants to stay in a cult …

Thought it would be a good time to revisit the best Beatle solo album ever made. Still a joy more than 50 years later.

So, I really need to shovel some snow, but I’ll wait until it warms up — supposed to reach 7 degrees today!
