Sometimes, I look at Arsenal's dominance this season and feel two different emotions. I am happy with what I am seeing, but at the same time, I am worried about what it could mean for us in January.
With Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United all struggling for consistency, our biggest rivals are not putting us under serious pressure. I am enjoying it as an Arsenal fan, but I hope our board doesn't become too comfortable because of it.
My fear is that they might look at the league table, see how much our rivals are struggling and conclude that there is no urgent need to strengthen the squad in January.
That would be a huge mistake.
We still need a proper LW and another CF. These are areas where we can improve, and the fact that we are currently dominating doesn't mean our squad is complete. If anything, this is the perfect opportunity to strengthen, add more quality and create the depth required to sustain our performance until the end of the season.
This is why I almost want our rivals to keep putting pressure on us, at least until the January transfer window closes. I don't want our board getting carried away by our current position and forgetting that there is still work to be done.
Dominance should be a reason to strengthen, not an excuse to stand still.
We have a massive opportunity this season. Let's not waste it through complacency.

Take note!
Less than 2 months to election, have opposition parties locked down their polling unit structure nationwide?
With how primitive our electoral process is, it is essential that opposition parties have a solid polling unit structure nationwide.
Take Benue for example last election, LP won there fair and square but due to lack of agents to sign results, the votes were split between PDP and APC.
APC got 310k votes. LP came 2nd with 308k votes.
This was a state devastated by herdsmen and a Governor that was so anti-APC. Yet….
It is very essential now as INEC has produced several brand new polling units that no one knows about. Probably exist on paper but don’t exist on the ground just to pump votes.
Opposition needs to get its polling unit structure right. Election is less than 70 days.
FLAMINGOS: YOU HAVE MADE NIGERIA PROUD

The reported US visa restrictions on Nigerian Supreme Court justices over the controversial judgment is a welcome development but a visa ban is not enough.
Dear United States Government, go further: seize their assets and send their families back to Nigeria. Let them live in and experience the same Nigeria their relatives helped destroy.
No public office should be a shield against accountability. Those entrusted with protecting justice must be held to the highest standards.
Accountability must go beyond statements. Actions must have consequences, and nobody should be above the law.

Even thugs like their lives too.
Advice all the thugs around you that elections is not worth the blood of anyone.
Treat the 2027 presidential election as though your entire life depends on it, because believe me, it does. The decisions made by those who govern you will determine the quality of your education, healthcare, electricity, security, economy and the opportunities available to your children. This is not just another election. It is a decision about the future you will have to live with. Take it seriously.

Now this is the difference. You won’t see any sensible igbo championing certain wing.
The goal is to get the right man for the job not vote because he is your brother. ‼️
What exactly is driving this sudden mass “migration” to Edo State?
These are the 10 LGAs that added the most registered voters between the 2023 election and the current register on display.

Yes. They use AI to generate votes from fictitious polling units, add to real polling units and come to announce in collation centre that they have results from X, Y, Z polling units.
Example for the intellectually challenged.
We have 5 polling units in your street. All 5 polling units vote for say NDC and votes are 500 votes from those polling units, right?
INEC will say “Oh there are really 9 polling units on that street”. No one can verify the other additional 4 polling units. No one is voting there as it’s all fake.
Time to collate and they bring out results for 9 polling units with their pumped results.
Nobody actually checks each polling units. All we see on TV during collation are LG results really.
One LG equals about 100-200 polling units. If they do that pattern for the APC, they will always win every LG with that pattern.
I made a tweet this morning about polling unit agents. It’s also captured there.
Eunice has been screaming this but it’s time to take it seriously.
The rigging this time is not at the polling units or collation centres guys.
@inecnigeria deleted real voters and created fake polling units and fake voters to rig the elections with.
INEC must clean up it's register, else, there will not be any elections.
Nonsense!!! 😡😡😡

I am profoundly saddened and deeply disturbed by reports of violence directed at members and coordinators of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) and the Obidient Movement in Delta State.
I unequivocally condemn the attacks against our coordinators, supporters, and fellow citizens who were merely exercising their democratic rights. Political violence has no place in a democracy and can never be justified. No political aspiration is worth the life of a Nigerian, and no dispute should be resolved through intimidation, physical attacks, or the destruction of property.
It is particularly troubling that, at a time when Nigeria urgently needs responsible leadership, some individuals continue to believe that political influence can be secured through thuggery, fear, and violence. Political authority should be attained through persuasion and the trust of the people, not by intimidating opponents.
I urge the Government and the security agencies to conduct an immediate and thorough investigation into these attacks, identify those responsible, and ensure that they face justice, irrespective of their political affiliations. The safety and security of our members must be assured.
We will not be intimidated or silenced, nor will we relinquish our democratic space to violence. Our response will remain peaceful, lawful, and determined.
Nigeria belongs to every one of us. No political party or individual has exclusive ownership of the democratic space. Every Nigerian is entitled to organise, gather, express their views, and freely elect their leaders. Our nation needs constructive ideas rather than intimidation, responsible leadership rather than thuggery, and democratic contest rather than political violence.
I stand in solidarity with everyone affected in Delta State. A New Nigeria must be founded on justice, liberty, peace, and respect for the dignity of every citizen.
May God bless Delta State and the Federal Republic of Nigeria. -PO

ENGAGING WITH THE UNITED NATIONS: UPHOLDING DEMOCRACY AND THE PEOPLE’S MANDATE
After I met with the European Union Commission yesterday, 5th November 2026, I welcomed a United Nations delegation to the Obidient House in Abuja for a courtesy visit.
Our discussions addressed pressing concerns facing Nigeria, including the current cost-of-living crisis, the well-being of our citizens, and the credibility of the upcoming elections.
I also used the occasion to urge the international community to uphold Nigerians’ democratic right to choose their leaders peacefully in the next elections through a free, fair, and credible process that genuinely reflects the will of the people. The international community must remain steadfast in protecting this democratic principle.
I appreciate the United Nations delegation, led by Leonardo Santos Simão, former Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Mozambique and currently the Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General for West Africa, as well as his team, for their visit and the productive exchange.

Celebrating the Flamingos
I warmly congratulate Nigeria’s U-17 women’s football team, the Flamingos, on their remarkable performance at the ongoing FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Morocco. They have demonstrated exceptional talent, resilience and determination throughout the tournament, making our nation proud.
As they prepare to face Japan in the final, I want to assure them that Nigerians everywhere are firmly behind them. I encourage them to remain focused, confident and determined as they take this final step towards glory.
The remarkable achievements of our young women are yet another testament to the immense potential of Nigerian youths. With the right leadership and an enabling environment, our young people can continue to excel and distinguish themselves on the global stage.
Once again, congratulations to the Flamingos. Keep making Nigeria proud. The sky is your limit!
