The internet's most famous side-eye comes from a YouTube video called "Lily's Disneyland Surprise...AGAIN!"
Lily is the other kid.
Her mom Katie had already filmed Lily finding out they were skipping school to go to Disneyland back in 2011. It went over so well that in September 2013 she set up the exact same surprise and hit record again. Lily held up her end and sobbed right on cue.
Then the camera swung to the car seat next to her, where her two-year-old sister Chloe was giving the whole thing a look.
That look outlived everything else in both videos, and there's a real reason why. Crying makes a lousy meme. Take away the title and the sound and you can't tell if a crying kid is thrilled or devastated, so the picture only works with the backstory attached. A side-eye works with zero context. You know what it means in any language, which is how a face from one family's car ended up plastered all over Google's office in Brazil when the Clems visited in 2017.
And if you watch what Chloe's actually doing in that frame, she's reacting to her sister losing it. That's pretty much the only thing anyone ever uses a reaction pic for. She nailed the use case at two years old.
In 2021 the family sold the original image as an NFT for 25 ETH, around $74,000 at the time, and Katie said it was going toward Chloe's college.
So after two videos with Lily's name on them, it's the little sister in the car seat who's covering tuition.

Interesting how both stories come back to the same question: can growth translate into sustainable returns?
I’m keeping $SPCX on my radar, but $TSLA is the one I’m watching most closely, with margins and the robotaxi story worth following. Curious to see how the market responds to both.
Keeping an eye on these moves through BingX TradFi.

I told my husband I wanted a divorce after finding another woman’s underwear in our bedroom.
He swore he had never cheated on me. I gave him 24 hours to tell me the truth—or I was leaving.
The next morning he walked into the kitchen, dropped an envelope on the table, and said,
“Before you destroy this marriage, call your younger sister and ask her where she slept last Friday.”
I called her right away. When I repeated what he said, she went completely silent for nearly half a minute. Then she asked, quietly,
“Did he tell you what happened after I left?”
My hands started shaking.
My sister had told me she hadn’t been to our house in over six months.
And my husband was standing right there, smiling like he’d finally won.
