It makes more sense to marry a woman with no job who is fully committed to taking care of the family and house than a woman with a job who doesn’t financially contribute to the household.
It is basically housing an employee of an organization, the cost of maintaining the employee is transferred to you—with none of the benefits shared.
There is nothing wrong with wanting a partner that makes life easier for you; it is the entire point of the union (even within Islamic culture). Why would you be committed to someone who is not committed to making life easier for you, when they have the means?
At the end of the day, there is a man for every woman and a woman for every man. Everyone should go for what they believe serves them and what they believe in.
