Proxy providers don’t want you to know this. You can just build your own ISP network. Colo in a carrier hotel. Sign DIA contracts with ISPs in the datacenter. Get terms for static routes or private BGP. Now you have your own PoP, with IP addresses that egress from the ISP. No per GB spend. No questionable compliance. No quality issues.

Introducing native input on Driver. Playwright and agent frameworks often click through CDP’s Input.dispatchMouseEvent. Antibots have had years to learn it. Native input takes a different path. Clicks, keys and scrolls go through Chrome’s own UI input handling.

Sneaker twitter popping off. I did RE, but fell in love with the proxy side. A market where 16 yr olds competing over cents on GBs. Sharing the time I bought over 20 servers with an online friend from Arizona. Built these on the floor of my ghetto 7 dudes university house. Everything that could go wrong did. - Shipping companies quoted wrong dates and left servers outside in the rain - We had no car, so a U-Haul moved everything from my university house to a datacenter in New York - 6.5 hour drive through snowstorms in Buffalo - AT&T promised internet in 30-60 days maximum. It took 120 Working on Driver now, the infra I wish existed during peak snkr dev

Cool full circle moment, your Driver infra runs off those servers in the rain. Bought them back from the company that acquired.

Might be one of the only people deploying Intel Arc A310 in datacenters
Driver is expanding its datacenter footprint 800% this month. New ISP networks. Racked Android phones. More GPUs. Daily posts through the whole build. What do you want to see?

We heard browser runtime performance is the new moat? Driver scores a mean of 15.2 on Browserbench Speedometer. Our fastest hardware tier averages 21.3. How: - Dedicated server colocation - Custom ISO deployed on metal - Gaming CPUs boosting > 5GHz Turns out real hardware is fast.

Grok 4.5 has been a delightful surprise. By far, the most annoying part of working with oai and anthropic models has been the silent failures and fallbacks when doing deep infra, cybersec, or RE. It's not perfect, but worth trying out if this sounds familiar. Thanks @edenchan for letting me know when this dropped

Reddit is following trend: Block web scraping and automation at any cost What this means: > Public data APIs killed > Remaining APIs pushed to auth + limits > Agents/bots must use Devvit (Reddit's dev platform)
