We’re fighting alongside all developers to open up the App Store to competition, which is the real solution to Apple discriminating against developers based on lawful business models. So far we’ve seen victory in EU, Japan, and Brazil.
Unfortunately our US antitrust case only won on payments, and we don’t currently foresee the court in our case helping developers who Apple is for reasons other than competing in payments and advocating for their rights. I urge reaching out to US politicians, as there are two bills in the works that would introduce app store competition.
I really wish we had a @nikitabier of Apple's App Store to just give it to us straight.
Just like he does when people complain of revenue and blasts them for saying "gm" 1,000 times or stealing content.

$114K in revenue. Apple is deleting my account for "fraud".
Over a tiny update I tried to ship 6+ months ago.
8+ rejections. 1 call with App Review. 1 full app rename.
Still rejected. Now my app is off the store, and my whole account is next.
Here's the full story:
The update added one new library. That's it.
Rejected: change keywords that had been there for over a year. mm okay.
Rejected: change a subtitle in some random localization. if it helps..
Rejected: screenshots.
Rejected: the same stuff, all over again.
Rejected: rename the entire app.
That one hurt. Most of my traffic comes from people searching that exact name.
So I asked for a call. Surely we could clear this up live.
The reviewer was genuinely great. He said the name was the last thing, everything else looked good.
So I renamed the whole app, submitted, went to sleep.
3 days later. Woke up to a generic rejection. Subtitle, screenshots, the full combo. Again.
So I asked myself: do I REALLY need this update?
I didn't. I dropped it and moved on.
Today, in that same old thread: "Pending Termination Notice. Evidence of Dishonest or Fraudulent Activity."
My appeal is with the App Review Board.
If it fails, this is what termination means:
Every app I've built, gone.
Every user, gone.
And I can never open a new developer account. Ever.
All over one library update I never shipped.
How do we solve a miscommunication like this?

Apple finally got back to me stating has "already completed review and now Ready for Distribution"
Weird part is when I log in it looks like nothing has changed.
Let's see but feeling a lot more hopeful. Still this is all so confusing.

I literally has no calculator in it but they think it does.
They rejected my app in my previous update, I removed it, they approved.
Looks like they're ignoring appeals too now. 2 weeks and no response.
I truly hope they improve their process in time.
My other apps are still pending updates. My guess is now bc of this my reputation with them isn't in great standings.
Previous to the calculator sweeps I was getting app updates approved in 1-2 days.

Surprised but not surprised.
With iPhones Apple always changed the camera layout so others know who’s got the latest iPhone.
With Mac that’s much harder to tell. Dynamic Island does that but much harder to spot from a distance.
Will be interesting to see but I hope I can also turn it off!

Smaller updates get approved within 24 hours.
For my other apps I’ve been changing the component library and adding duo and tablet support.
Taking way longer!
Going to do much smaller and frequent updates from here to really test this

then woke up to apple removing every single app I've built from the app store.
entire dev account flagged under 3.2(f). payouts frozen.
years of work, just like that.
