More "firsts" in fighting games. Ring-outs, super armor, and more. Tried to be fairly thorough, but probably got at least one of these wrong over this little series. Several games did certain things in very close proximity to each other or in slightly different ways.

as much as i'm enjoying tokon I think assemble counter is one of the worst fighting game mechanics of all time ( the orange backdash reversal ) It always feels bad to use and to fight against There's no fun interaction against it in my opinion and its cringe that it can KO imo
