You see this thing Peter Obi does, going into the hinterlands to hold town hall meetings? He actually did the same thing when he was Governor of Anambra State. And I’m not talking about campaign visits. Every year, he visited towns across the state, at least one in every LGA, to hear directly from the people. He continued doing this even after winning his second term. His wife, Margaret Obi, did the same with Anambra women. She visited all 177 towns in the state, holding town hall meetings to hear their concerns and understand their challenges. This had nothing to do with election campaigns. I know this because my late Mum was the then Secretary of Ekwulobia Women Council (EWC). As a matter of fact, I was the one doing most of the secretarial work. I practically doubled as the de facto secretary of both EWC and Ụmụada Ekwulọbịa because the then President of Ụmụada Ekwulọbịa, Mrs. Ngozi Obeke, who was a close friend of my Mum, wouldn’t let me rest with writing letters and handling other correspondence. 😂 I actually enjoyed doing it back then. Peter Obi was the same yesterday as he is today.
Peter Obi will not stop at the airport to address you people, talk about how there is no electricity at the airport, and then jet back to Abuja within ten minutes of addressing you. Do you see how he is visiting all the states in Nigeria? This is a sign of a committed leader who holds the interests of Nigerians to heart and will not turn the UK and France into his second home. Remember when Tinubu visited Jos following the deadly attacks in Plateau State? He met community representatives near the airport and reportedly told them, “You have no light here, I'll fly out in ten minutes.” Nigerians, the ball is in your court. Will you join the boat of prosperity and fight for your country's freedom from the hands of politicians who don't think you're worth their time, or will you fold your hands and endure more years of bad leadership under the APC?

These are wartime stories btw.
She Hid Her 12-Year-Old Daughter in a Ditch for Nine Months to Save Her From Boko Haram In August 2014, Zainabu Hamayaji made a decision that would keep her daughter alive but force the young girl to spend nine months hidden underground. Hassana was only 12 years old. Her mother feared that Boko Haram fighters would abduct her and force her to become a child bride. To protect her, Zainabu hid her in a deep ditch behind their home in Madagali, Adamawa State, Nigeria. Then, she did something that made the plan even more extraordinary. She pretended to be mentally ill so the insurgents would leave her family alone. When Boko Haram invaded Madagali, families faced a terrifying choice. People who tried to escape were being killed, and Zainabu witnessed the violence firsthand. Her husband was among those killed. She was left trying to protect her children in a town controlled by the same fighters she feared would take her eldest daughter away. Zainabu had heard that the insurgents were looking for young girls to marry. When they learned she had a daughter of marriageable age, they came to her home. She denied having such a daughter, but they did not believe her. They beat her repeatedly. Her shoulder was dislocated, and she lost a tooth during the attacks. Zainabu realised that simply denying Hassana's existence would not be enough. She needed to make the fighters believe there was something about her family that made it dangerous to interfere with them. So she began acting as though she had lost her sanity. She loosened her hair, stripped off her clothes and wandered around the community. She rolled in rubbish and smeared herself with urine and faeces. The woman who had once lived an ordinary life was deliberately making herself an object of avoidance. The insurgents returned repeatedly to check whether her behaviour was genuine. Each time, Zainabu continued the act. Her younger children helped her maintain the deception. When the fighters questioned them about their mother's behaviour, they insisted that she had been mentally unwell for a long time and had previously visited a psychiatric hospital. The children were frightened, but they played their part. Eventually, the insurgents began to believe the story. According to Zainabu's account, they feared that harming a mentally ill woman or taking her child could bring a curse upon them. They even left a warning on the family's house telling other fighters not to attack them. But while Zainabu was trying to convince the insurgents that she was mentally unstable, Hassana was facing a different kind of ordeal. She was living inside a ditch. Her mother had prepared the hiding place with supplies, including food, water and matches. Hassana had to cook and manage her basic needs in the confined space. She also had to find a way to dispose of her waste. For nine months, the ditch became her hiding place. She could not simply walk outside whenever she wanted. Her safety depended on remaining hidden while her mother continued the deception above ground. It was an extraordinary burden for a child who should have been able to live without fear of being abducted and forced into marriage. Zainabu kept up the act, despite the beatings and the physical injuries she had suffered. Then, in March 2015, Nigerian soldiers recaptured Madagali from Boko Haram. When the soldiers encountered Zainabu, they were suspicious. They wanted to know how she had survived in the occupied town and questioned whether she had been married to a Boko Haram fighter. She denied it and explained what she had done to protect her children. The soldiers did not immediately believe her. So she took them to the hiding place. When they opened the ditch, Hassana was there. After nine months underground, the 12-year-old girl was finally brought out of hiding. The soldiers took the family to a camp for displaced people in Gwoza, where Zainabu later told her story to journalists.

Buy okirika, wear it out, not a bad omen Dash some Nysc kits, bad omen If nah car wey she use throughout her service year she wan dash you now, e no go be bad omen. 😂 Maybe I don't understand life but she's too nice to offer such when you didn't ask.
Yesterday was POP for NYSC folks, and as usual, I was busy reposting everyone I knew. It got to this girl’s turn, and I sent my congratulations. She replied, “Thank you. That reminds me, I’ve kept all my NYSC stuff for you. You don’t need to buy anything when it gets to your turn.” I said thank you, then had to discuss it with a friend. She told me it’s a bad omen because apparently, everybody uses new things for camp and it will lead to see finish. Is it really a bad omen to use someone else’s NYSC belongings, or is this another one of those girls talk.

I wanted to say that leaving is too much, maybe he's just not good at painting... until I saw the painting. Unless he's schizophrenic, there's no reason to do something like this.

My neighbour’s girlfriend broke up with him last night because she came home late from work, tired and hungry, only for him to ask her to make dinner. She got offended, packed her bags and left. He told me the whole story this morning and gave me her number to talk to her since we’ve always been cool. I called her this evening, but the moment I mentioned his name, she ended the call and blocked me too. Fair enough, baby girl 😂
I’m trying to mind my business, but some businesses are extremely interesting.

I said this with my full chest until I could no longer endure the pain. 😂 About five days ago, I went to see a urologist. After a series of questions, we got to the part of the consultation I wasn't mentally prepared for. Doctor: "Please, take off your jeans." Me: (Reluctantly) 😭 He insisted there was no other way, so I complied. I took off my boxers too, and he asked me to walk over to him so he could examine my balls. At this point, my imagination had gone wild. I was already picturing this doctor putting my dick in his mouth and calculating the kind of beating I would give him if he tried anything funny. 😂😂 Anyway, after examining my balls, which were a little painful to touch, came the main event. Doctor: "I'll have to insert my finger into your anus to examine your prostate. It'll be slightly uncomfortable, and you may feel some pain." Me: "Haa! You mean my ass is about to get piped?!" 😭 Doctor: "It's necessary to examine your prostate." Omo! Na that moment I quickly lie down on the bed to collect my backshot. I had no choice. 😂 He applied lubricant around the entrance of my anus and inserted his finger. The finger was moving around until he finally located my prostate. Unfortunately for me, the moment he pressed it, I nearly saw my ancestors. The pain was something else! 😭😭 Apparently, my prostate was inflamed, and I was diagnosed with PROSTATITIS. I was placed on a two-month course of medication. Since that experience, I've been raining curses on all the gay men in existence, morning, afternoon and night. I can't believe I experienced this mini gayism in the name of medical examination. 😂😂 But jokes apart, guys, please take your health seriously. If you're experiencing persistent pain around your lower abdomen, groin, lower back or testicles, pain during ejaculation, or a burning sensation when urinating, please see a urologist. Not every genital or urinary problem is an STI. Sometimes, it's something entirely different. And please, don't wait until the pain becomes unbearable before seeking medical attention. Your health is more important than your pride. 😂
Ex ray can see your bone MRI can see your brain Ultra sound can see a baby in the womb But no machine can run my prostate examination. Doctor will have to finger my butt to carry out the test. 😒 I am not doing please. I will rather die like a warrior than let anything go inside my yansh

For those who don't understand Yoruba, this is the English version of what the man said. Kayode, a prominent man who reportedly died by suicide after recording a video announcing his will to his family, said: I Akinbolusere Kayode, and I am the person making this video, in my own name and on behalf of my family. I am using this opportunity to inform everyone that I, Akinbolusere Kayode, have decided to write my will and state how all my belongings should be distributed. I want everyone to understand that I am doing this of my own free will. Nobody is forcing me, and I am not under any form of duress. I woke up this morning, went to work and left my wife at home. When I got to work, I met all my workers at their various workstations and provided everything they needed. I gave them money to buy fuel, and they bought it. We supplied fuel to the first machine and the second machine, but the third machine was already faulty. The first machine started working, and the second one started working too. However, after a while, the second machine developed another fault and stopped working. Eventually, the first machine also developed a fault and stopped working. I began to wonder: What kind of problem is this? What kind of life am I living? When I started this business, I started from nothing. I didn't commit fraud or cheat anybody to get to where I am today. My wife, whom I married through a court wedding, knows everything I went through. She knows my struggles. She has been my helper. She is a good wife, the kind of woman people pray to have as a wife. She has never given me any problems or caused me any trouble. I am the one who frustrated her. I am the one responsible for the problems we are facing. It is not because she did anything wrong. She never gave me any reason to complain. She gave me three children. Everything I wanted, she wanted too, and we pursued those things together in the presence of God. But I am the one who lost my way. I forgot where I started from. I forgot the struggles and sacrifices that brought me this far. The devil has power, but he does not have salvation. I want to use this opportunity to tell everyone that I made this video willingly. Nobody forced me, and I am not under any duress. I am leaving all my belongings to my wife and children. Everything I own in this world, everything I have worked for from the time I was young until now, I am giving to them. From the days when I worked as a barber, through the difficult times when I had nothing, to where I am today, everything I have gathered belongs to my wife and children. My wife supported me. She stood by me throughout the journey. I am the one responsible for the problems we are facing. To anyone who hears this message, please understand that I am the one making this decision. Everything I have acquired in this world, I am leaving to my wife, Akinbolusere Esther, and our three children. My first child Akinbolusere Oluwaferanmi who is in Canada, my second child Akinbolusere Toluwani who is also in Canada, and my third child Akinbolusere Daniel in Canada. Everything I have earned and everything I own, I am leaving to them. My wife and children are the ones I want to inherit all that I have. And I repeat, nobody is forcing me. I am not under any duress.
