Getting a message like this from a former employee, who I now call a friend, means more to me than they will ever know! I love mentoring and helping elevate others!
Text message excerpt Them: I can't stop smiling!! If it wasn't for women like you that are just role models for the tech world I definitely wouldn't be where I am now!!! Thank you so much for all your guidance and just being that person I want to strive to be. Me: OMGoodness that is the sweetest thing you could say, seriously! You put in the hard work!! I'm so proud of you! Getting me all teary eyed!

Conferences can be like a mini fRamily reunion. Always good to reconnect with with amazing people, but even better to add to the group. Some of these ppl I worked with at Cambia or met at Chain React in 2019, but many are new and I hope to see them next year. #chainreact2023

Loved the history of @expo and debunking the myths about what you get with these amazing tools today! Thank you @keithremixed for helping share the new era and bringing it to light! Chose your own adventure! But I suggest considering Expo on your journey! #ChainReact2023

As a remote employee I value in person opportunities, especially early on! It was a joy to meet teammates in Nashville the last couple of days as I started week 3. Great discussions on immediate needs as well as planning our roadmap.

Super excited to join the lineup @ChainReactConf for 2023. I had such an amazing time in 2019 and I can't wait to be back in May. Don't let a legacy codebase scare you!

From @ReactMiamiConf all the way back across the country to Oregon and straight to supporting my daughter at a jackpot lamb show. 🐑 I'm exhausted but my kids are worth it!

@JoshuaKGoldberg killed it up there talking about Typescript and ESlint @ReactMiamiConf. Loved the enthusiasm and interaction. Don't fear the linter!

An amazing talk about taking your projects a11y beyond the WCAG and thinking about (disabled) power users! I appreciated the candor. "... usability testing can only be done by people" Thank you for sharing this important info @ryanmagoon

Funny conversation with my daughter while I'm traveling, just keeping it real and reminding her that as much as she thinks it's hard now, it's easier than she thinks! I should have also said you have to work to make money and pay your bills. #parenting
Text message conversation Daughter: I just don't want to go to school ☹️ that's what makes up all my time then the rest of the day is packed Me: Yep, and when you are an adult that becomes work and work is longer hours than school Daughter: bruh

Killer demo by @Una, loved seeing more CSS props and HTML to avoid using scripts & dependencies, while leveraging the browser 🥳 @ReactMiamiConf

Nerves are in full affect! I think it's important to share that even speakers who have done this several times, still get the butterflies. But we do it anyways! Attendees are always so supportive. Let's do this! @ReactMiamiConf
