It is utterly disgraceful how they went for Laurence. Anyone who has taken the time to watch BBC Question Time will see he never said anything remotely wrong, definitely not to warrant the outrage that came from it. What he said about Britain was correct. It is a warm, welcoming and tolerant country. The only person who mentioned skin colour was the audience member talking at him, about “white privilege”. They just didn’t like that he didn’t push the narrative that they wanted him to. The be kind and inclusive brigade are the worst hypocrites!
