For B.A.P and BABY, the whistle is more than just a sound-producing device; it's our official identity, an iconic fanchant, and a symbol of the strong emotional bond between idols and fans. 1. Iconic Fanchant BABYz has a unique tradition of blowing whistles to the beat of the song when B.A.P performs on stage. This whistle fanchant is closely associated with their early debut songs, which have a powerful and warrior feel, such as "Warrior" and "Power." 2. Official Fandom Identity (Merchandise) Whistles are officially released as concert merchandise. Within the K-pop community, the sound of whistles at a music event or outdoor concert instantly identifies BABY as present. 3. Symbol of Communication and Collective Strength B.A.P's initial concept was that of aliens who descended to Earth from Planet Mato to invade the world with their music. On stage, B.A.P performs fiercely with their thumping hip-hop/rock music, while BABY respond with a frenzied mass of whistles. The sound of these whistles symbolizes unity, a call to arms, and the tireless support of BABY who always stand behind B.A.P 4. Symbol of Loyalty and Reunion The meaning of these whistles has grown more emotional over time. Despite B.A.P's long hiatus and agency issues, the legendary whistle remains cherished by BABY.
