I can't believe what I've just witnessed at Trent Bridge. A team seemingly batting to oust its own management. A deeply dysfunctional set up. Others need to follow Stokes out the door here. Key, obviously. "Baz" can find a spare seat on his countrymen's flight home.

Fun fact: Here is the £100 million London mansion of the new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei on Billionaires' Row.
@Keir_Starmer, why aren't you seizing it, just as you did to Russian properties?
No legal archives or lists (so no court reporting), no jury trials, blanket speech restrictions & now attempting to ID gate VPNs. Easily the most authoritarian government of my life and it’s not close
'It is not good enough.'

Awkward moment for the BBC: having spent two years pumping out Hamas propaganda, they now must face Iranians bravely opposing the regime that funds it.

Signs of authoritarianism going too far:
Ending jury trials.
Cancelling elections.
Jailing people for hurty posts.
Introducing Digital ID without a mandate.
Considering banning X/Twitter.
Or as we call it in the UK, another day under a Labour government.

A police officer just came round to ‘reassure’ us after the Bondi beach attack. He hoped local pro-Pals would stay quiet tonight. When Manchester happened the blood was up. They came out in force. Dead Jews get them excited. That’s what police don’t get.

I genuinely thought QPR had turned a corner this season, not that we’d cracked it, but turned a corner.
They got me again, fair play. One day I’ll learn.

The issue with Rachel Reeves is the same issue we've seen with all the other Labour scandals. It's not the scale or nature or offence. It's the off-hand way Keir Starmer dismisses breaches of the rules and law by his own Ministers, having spent years castigating the Tories for similar offences, and pledging a total transformation of standards in public office.

Unable to police the borders - on an *island* - the government intends to police its citizens instead.

Did he announce Digital ID to stop us talking about his £700,000 scandal?
How thick does he think we are?

Let me explain this to Rachel like she’s a 5 year old.
When you put private businesses out of business, the amount of tax the government gets goes DOWN and your already unaffordable benefits bill goes UP!
It’s really not complex.

The Sun reports that Angela Rayner’s boyfriend, Sam Tarry, works for a lobby group whose client received a £280,000 cash boost from the Labour government.
Back in 2023, she promised to end the “revolving door between ministerial office and lobbying jobs”.
Endless hypocrisy.

QPR reportedly to receive 15% of Crystal Palace’s profit on Eberechi Eze. Huge windfall for QPR, who sold him to Palace for £19.5m in 2020, and totally deserved. When Eze was released (by Arsenal aged 13) and other academies, QPR gave him a chance. Eze has previously praised Chris Ramsey, Les Ferdinand, Andy Impey and Paul Hall for their role in his development.
He’s kicked on again at Palace. Super player, popular England international, technical, makes things happen, great free-kicks, dribbler, versatile, can play off the left but best as a 10. Eze’s journey highlights again, as if it needed highlighting, the importance of the EFL, providing a second chance for those overlooked by the elite. #AFC #CPFC #QPR #EFL
