Y’all need to stop trying to turn this Hakeem Jeffries situation into a race issue. For many of us, it’s about his unwavering support for Israel while our tax dollars fund what we believe is genocide. And you conveniently leave out that we don’t want Chuck Schumer either. Okay, this is the problem with identity politics. Jeffries is a terrible messenger. He’s just as bad of a leader. If his only redeeming quality is his being Black then that’s not a good thing.
Who gives a shit if he’s Black? Why should we care about his race? He isn’t fit for this moment- we have a majority like never before and you want to waste it on identity politics?
