Tested this and we found that if all four of us actually did nothing and just died we got 0 MGC. Being carried through the first two rounds takes several minutes longer and gives about 130 mgc. A good run rewards roughly 350 mgc faster.

Not having keyboards is a legitimate complaint for console players. We're already paying every month to pay. We shouldn't have to pay for additional external hardware just to get limited time items.
