People keep asking me why did I move out of DC. Was I not supposed to??? I’m born and raised in DC, it’ll always be home! That’s the thing a lot of people have become some complacent and comfortable never leaving what they’ve always known! It’s way more to life out here.

i wish more black gay men understood that we don’t have to be attracted to one another to value one another. every interaction doesn’t have to lead to sex, dating or rejection. there’s room for genuine friendships, mentorship, brotherhood and community. we need each other beyond romance.
