Dear @fanta I will never buy another Fanta product again due to your use of AI.
If you’re too cheap to hire VFX artists to make a real ad, then your product must also be cheap and not worth buying.
I was at the cinema this evening and during the ads before the film there was a Hallowe’en ad from Fanta. I couldn’t quite believe my eyes, but it was certified AI slop. I couldn’t record, of course, but I’ve found it online. I’m sure the Coca-Cola Company of all companies could afford a real ad. Down with AI slop.

I don’t mind the idea of fursuits being banned, I’m just perplexed by the WHY
Like, not our fault guests were led to believe fursuits are a sex-only thing, nor that fursuiters larped so good/are so visually attractive that they’re mistaken as an official performance 🤷♀️

It’s a private event with a dress code. Not every venue has to accommodate every subculture — and “discrimination” doesn’t automatically mean someone’s rights were violated.

This person has a terrible reputation in China. That includes, but is not limited to, using offensive terms to refer to furry people, plagiarizing works from Japanese creators, using factory-made products to pretend they're handmade and selling them at high prices, and buying other people's works in China and passing them off as his own. There's evidence for all of this.

A Texas judge just ordered Discord to turn on the age checks it built for the UK.
The same face scans, same ID uploads, now for everyone in the state. Britain wrote the rule and Texas imported it.
So a judge told them to turn it on.
Texans will have to show a face scan or government ID to access legal speech.

People defending Hank Green for using ChatGPT for research is astounding. Sure it "just aggregated links" but you do know that the sources you gather drastically change your research right? He didn't automate a menial task, the act of finding your sources is creatively necessary.

Perhaps I’m too pure of heart, but I didn’t read this as “flaunting wealth” but rather them showcasing that they see the value in the fandom’s artistic work and are willing to drop large sums of money into the pockets of artists.
That’s great and I hope they buy more suits.
