I told a man last night, “Look at you, arguing longer than you can last,” then blocked him. I know his chest is still burning

Met her on TikTok, She was sweet and beautiful, and our conversations flowed easily, especially late at night. I told her I wanted her and she agreed to be my woman, even though she’s Muslim and I’m Christian. When she came over the first time, her beauty hit me and she smelled so good I could still smell her after she left. We kissed, and she got upset. When she got home she texted that what we did was illegal and haram because we weren’t married. Then she blocked me. I still love her though.
What text made you realize that the relationship was over?

My grandmother paid off her 30-year mortgage in 2008. She threw a small dinner. Cried happy tears. Said she finally had complete security for the rest of her life. Property taxes were $2,100 a year then. Today they’re $8,400. Homeowners insurance went from $90 a month to $380. She’s 78 on a fixed Social Security check, writing four bills a month for a home she doesn't owe a dime on. She called me yesterday asking if I could help her pack. She’s selling. The home she raised three kids in. The home she paid off with 30 years of sweat. Because she got priced out of something she fully owns. You never truly own anything. You just get a break from the bank until the government and insurance companies take over.

昨日の夜、同僚とレジの仕事をしていたとき、こんな会話になった。 私「医者ってもっと稼ぐべきだと思う。人の命を救ってるのに、インフルエンサーのほうが稼いでるなんておかしくない?」

I female shared a room with mmy male friend, on a trip and ended up fùcking in the shower.. this happened a few months ago and i still think about it. me and my friend decided to take a short weekend trip together. nothing romantic planned, just two people who got along well and both needed a break from regular life. we'd known each other a while, he was easy to talk to, never weird about stuff, and when the hotel ended up only having rooms with one bed left we both just shrugged and said it was fine. we were adults. we could share. the first night was normal. we got food, walked around a bit, came back and watched something on his laptop until we both passed out on opposite sides of the bed. the second day was more of the same until the evening. i'd been on my feet a lot and just wanted a long hot shower before we went out again. i told him i was jumping in and left the bathroom door unlocked like i always do at home without thinking. i was already under the water, rinsing shampoo out of my hair, when i heard the door open. i turned and he was just standing there, looking like he hadn't fully decided whether to step in or back out. for a second neither of us said anything. the only sound was the water hitting the tiles.

Last month, my landlord sent me a message that completely ruined my evening. “Dear tenant, please be informed that your rent will increase when your current agreement expires. The new amount will be communicated shortly.” I read it once. Then I read it again. After that, I showed it to my wife. She looked at me and asked, “Are they planning to renovate the house?”

A stranger fell asleep on my shoulder on the train. I did not have the heart to wake him. Three stops became twelve. I missed my station and arrived late to my best friend's engagement party. When he woke, he apologised and gave me his number. I threw it away.

The most isolated people I know aren’t the quiet ones. They’re the ones who are always available, always joking, always ‘fine.’ Nobody checks on the person who never looks like they need it.

Early-season Tyrion Lannister was a different kind of dangerous. He didn't need a sword to destroy you. He just needed a few words. 🥶 One of the best examples comes in Game of Thrones Season 2, Episode 1, when Tyrion arrives in King's Landing and comes face-to-face with Janos Slynt, the man who betrayed Ned Stark. Tyrion doesn't shout. He doesn't threaten him. He calmly reminds Janos that a man who sells his loyalty once can hardly pretend to have honor. And the way he delivers it? Pure Tyrion. Janos had mistaken a favor for a permanent position of power. He thought he could keep playing the game, forgetting that he'd already shown everyone exactly who he was. Tyrion saw the danger in keeping a man like that around. So he sent him to the Wall and not out of some noble sense of justice, but because a man who betrays one master might eventually betray another. That was what made early Tyrion so brilliant. He could be funny, ruthless, and calculating without ever raising his voice. And Janos's story didn't end there. Years later, Jon Snow executed him at Castle Black, bringing a satisfying end to the man who had helped condemn Ned Stark. Tyrion may not have planned that final outcome, but the irony was hard to miss. Early Tyrion understood something most characters didn't: a sharp mind and the right words could be more dangerous than any sword. 🐉 Game of Thrones

I discovered my husband was cheating on me because our neighbour accidentally sent me a message meant for him. My husband, Daniel, and I had been married for seven years. I trusted him completely, and our neighbour, Sarah, was someone I considered a close friend. One evening, Sarah sent me a text that read, “Last night was amazing. When can I see you again?” Before I could respond, she deleted it. Then another message appeared. “Please don’t tell your wife. I think she’s beginning to suspect something.” My hands started shaking. I wanted to believe there was a reasonable explanation, but deep down, I already knew the truth. When Daniel came home that night, I acted as if nothing had happened. Instead, I asked him one question. “Baby, do you think Sarah is a trustworthy person?” His face suddenly went pale.

The sheets were ruined. My husband had another woman crushed beneath him. His thick cock forced her cunt wide open while his heavy sack beat against her with every deep, wet stroke. One hand mauled her chest roughly. The other clamped his swollen pouch tight as he slammed into her. She saw me, let out a broken moan, and locked her thighs around his waist. He didn’t pause. He only fucked her harder.

For 17 years, Daniel Brooks believed he had the kind of family most men prayed for. A wife he loved. Three children who called him Dad. A house in Ohio that still needed repairs, a minivan with a broken air conditioner, and a family vacation he saved for all year. Daniel worked as a long-haul truck driver. He missed birthdays sometimes, slept in truck stops, and drove through the night so his children could have things he never had growing up. His oldest daughter, Madison, was preparing for college. His son, Tyler, wanted to become a mechanic. His youngest, Sophie, still ran to the window whenever she heard his truck pulling into the driveway. Daniel thought he understood what sacrifice meant. Then, at 42, he and his wife, Rachel, visited a fertility specialist. They weren’t trying to have another child. Rachel had been experiencing some medical issues, and during a conversation about their reproductive history, the doctor suggested Daniel undergo testing. He didn’t think much of it. Until the results came back. The doctor asked him to sit down. Daniel had a condition that meant he had likely been unable to father children naturally for his entire adult life. The doctor explained that further testing would be needed to understand the cause and timing. Daniel barely heard the rest. Three children. Seventeen years. Every school picture, every Father’s Day card, every time he’d told them they had his eyes. On the drive home, he pulled into a gas station parking lot and sat behind the steering wheel. For the first time in his life, Daniel couldn’t figure out where to go. But the medical results weren’t the only thing waiting for him at home.

I got my girlfriend pregnant, and the first thing she asked me was, “If I decide to keep this baby, will you still marry me?” We had been dating for eight months. We loved each other, but neither of us was financially stable enough to raise a child. When she showed me the pregnancy test, I sat in silence. She started crying because she thought my silence meant I wanted nothing to do with her.

A company is profitable, but its share price keeps falling. Why? Profit is not the only thing that moves a price. Here are 5 reasons I look at. 1. Expectations Profit rises from ₦10B to ₦15B. Great. But if investors expected ₦20B, the market may still be disappointed. 2. Valuation If the price already assumed big growth, good results can still leave it with nowhere to go. A good company is not a good investment at every price. 3. Cash Accounting profit that doesn't turn into cash worries investors. I check the cash flow statement. 4. Future risks Rising costs, more debt, new competitors, regulation, weak demand. The market looks ahead, not back. 5. The wider market Sometimes everything falls together. But a falling market doesn't excuse a weak company. Both can be true. A real example: International Breweries' 9-month pre-tax profit rose 22%, but after-tax profit fell and EPS slipped from 34 to 32 kobo because tax jumped. The shares are down about 37% this year. Before buying a falling stock, I ask: is the cause the company or the market? I don't buy because it's cheaper, and I don't sell because it's red. Quiz: a company's profit rises 30%, but analysts expected 50%. What most likely hits the share price? A. The 30% rise B. The gap between 30% and 50% C. Neither Comment your answer.
