Some Chicago Bears draft notes:
1. Dennis Allen usually doesnβt run a NT. He typically likes smaller DTβs (under 300 lbs) who have upfield disruption.
2. He likes larger DEs (over 255) who can set a stout edge in the run game then show rush traits. (Why he pursued Crosby over Hendrickson)
3. He wants versatile safeties. Both starting S should be just as fluent in the box and in deep coverage. Disguise here is DAβs strength.
4. In CBs he likes man coverage a lot, and wants CBs who excel in pressing WRs.
Defensively, they need to add a player at S, DE, and DT. In the draft. When doing mock drafts, look for players with these traits.
